I clicked on it Celia, and it looks like the page count is already there https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5... 🤔

Yep, perfect! I agree with Lisa and Celia and think putting it for book with footnotes / endnotes is best as it's harder to find a book for it than the Satire list. So we'll keep it there. That's a good find as well. I haven't come across that many books with footnotes in a while

Yes it does give that vibe. I'd be happy to suss out who recommended it and see what they say, if you'd like :) Let me know if you're keen

Hmm ok. I'm moving on from the YA high school drama but I think it's important for me to keep in touch one way or another with issues in high school. It was published in 2019 so it shouldn't be that out of date. Meaning, teachers should have caught on to issues - as you said. If I can get a copy, I may give it a read

Paulette, you put #77 - Features a superstitious character for Dead Until Dark. Who is superstitious? Is it Sookie or someone else? I can't remember the book very clearly. It's been a long time and there's 11 books to remember ._.

I read the blurb for that Diane. Do you think it's worth a read? It seems like an interesting book

Woohoo!A 5 star book!

That's a good point. I'm still debating whether I pay for audible, KU, scribd. I ruled out Kobo books at least. I just want to pay for one as all of them is too much

Thanks Lisa :)

Haha yeah I thought it was getting a bit unclear and muddled the more books we read. But glad it's easier to understand now.

35559 Lisa - (Aussie Girl) wrote: "So regarding Other Team Recommendations. If a book is recommended and is in a series, does it have to be the actual book or any book in the series? Thanks."

This was asked in the captains group and the answer given was:
"you do know that I look with extreme side-eye at all these generic recommendation lists, right? the intent being that you go and ask for a specific rec, maybe with some constraints or guides. lesson learnt: be clearer in the task text.

that also means I'm not gonna answer that, and instead suggest that you should ask the team that made the rec if they are recommending a specific book or a generic series. (and to leave it to you conscience if you use the generic rec anyway ;-P )(in practical terms, you aren't gonna be penalised for doing so)
eta: comedy moist-themed lists get less side-eye, to be fair"

I would say that if we read a discworld book, we can most likely use it in the books recommended by other team tasks as there has been a quite a few recommendations

35559 Quick Update

We're tracking really well with our books. Hooray! I've added all our books read to the main sheet. We've read a total of 77 books so far with a total of 3175 points.

In the Tasks tab, I have crossed out the tasks that have been used for a book and that has been entered onto the main SS. So if you want to change your book from a crossed out task to a non-crossed out task, let Jessi or me know so we can adjust the details. :)

I hope everyone's weekends are fun and relaxing so far!

Hmm. I can see them now.

It's odd, but I can't see the link to the shelf when you look at the page of the book. But if I'm on your shelf, I can see it. Maybe it's another Goodreads glitch. But thanks Celia, it's all sorted now

I haven't. I used Southern Myths for 'hat on cover'. But I'll add the two options for Southern Myths in case we need to swap :)

Yes I see your points. I try to only use the credits for audiobooks that my public library doesn't have. But if Scribd is cheaper and there's more flexibility with the books, I may move onto it. Hopefully that range is as good as audible or even better.

The park looks cool from the images on the website. The soy grass is a concept I've never heard of before. I wonder what it means... It will be a great spot to take some nice photos of them :)

With the book, that's a bit of a tricky one. I can see one or two butterflies when I click on the cover and look at it closely. You can put it as an option for now Alysa. But I think the blue thing would need to be a bit more clear and blue
