Amanda’s comments from the Nothing But Reading Challenges group.

I've updated Mini 2 and here's what we have unclaimed right now:

- Read a book that is in the Books You Wish More People Knew About List
- Read a book where the first word of the text is "One" (this does not include chapter title)
- Read a book with short stories
-Read a book with the word highway, road, avenue or street in the title (Plurals are acceptable)
-Read a book with the word car, vehicle, bike, bicycle, truck or lorry in the title (Plurals are acceptable)

Last night, while I had a toddler who decided 11PM-1AM was a GREAT time to be wide awake, Instagram decided to suggest a bunch of "around the world through books" posts so I have a lot of countries saved! I'll upload them at some point to an album we can flip through when we need some suggestions


I also found a U book with an Argentine author that is already on my TBR so we will have a bonus extra one the next time we have a U!

Definitely put them on the books tab too!! Everything you read (that meets book requirements) whether BOM, for a mini, or doesn’t work anywhere we can still get page points

I think Friday would be just fine Haley! We usually get at least 2 days for cheese. And even if it doesn't make it these time they keep throwing Us at us so it will be very helpful. Is that Glennon Doyle's book? How is it?

Im trying to do longer books for my last 10ish (Just added a 700+ U book to the sheet eeep) but a trusted friend said this one is very good for argentine author Fever Dream

So for the current cheese all we have left is 2 U's! Does anyone have one planned?

oop nevermind on Turkey. While she is a "british-turkish" author turns out she was born in france. I saw another though

Audible is having a massive sale so probably going to stock up on some more of the hard countries

I found one for Turkey 10 Minutes 38 Seconds in This Strange World looks good and the audio is on sale for under $3!

I've found that picking the largest city and googling "City Goodreads Places" has been very helpful for finding books

I have very few books before I hit my cap so am trying to maximize page counts so can look for one if as well if we need!

Also, Haley, what's the first word in "The Woman in Suite 11"? I can't look it up because it's not published yet and we've had a couple tasks for first word in text.

Has anyone already finished a book that works for "Read a book with a character who desires world domination"? That one is harder for me to tell just by browsing blurbs

I added the start date to the top of our new countries as we are not allowed to bank books for that one :)

I have to find a book with all the numbers 1585 in the publication date for another challenge (Lisa and Trio it's for tudor) so I've been scrolling through our list tasks to try to find one. If anyone sees one please let me know lol
