We (the captains) just placing stuff for the cheese because it's an unknown time frame so we aren't doing claims and are just filling as soon as we see something that fits. Unless you've got a U planned, then let us know and we will put it in so you can make sure it gets counted

I KNOW! There was a grocery store near the hospital I took birthing classes in that had like a whole room of artisan cheese that I would waddle up to when I was pregnant and now I want to go to it again lol

While we haven't been claiming letters for these ones if anyone is reading a U specifically for the cheese please let us know!!

So Column G is "Mini Ref" and that's where you'll assign a mini. On each Mini row there's a number in Column A. You'll just plug that number into column G

Our new task is "Read a book where a character gets on a plane" for Mini 2 and rather than dig through everyone's books, does anyone have this in one of their books that is finished but hasn't been used yet?

One of our new tasks is sun in title so Lisa if you take sculptor we can move Haley's book there :)

Also for everyone (myself included!) we get page points no matter what so even if you can't fit in any of the minis make sure you're still putting your books up :)

Perfect!! I am moving mini challenge 1 less because I know a lot of people are going to be picking books specifically because they fit for those odd countries (though I might move the level 1 countries to the other minis if they help us out)

I've honestly been moving everyone's stuff around but I'm trying to make sure everything fits somewhere!

Megan, I did get actual approval on your coral reef book!

Specifically because the entirety of this book is about coral reefs. They did say in general non-fiction doesn't work for character driven tasks and as a counter-example, a non-fic about general oceanic habitats with a chapter on coral reefs would likely not work.

So if the task is really the entirety of the book we can use it (e.g. a bio about Picasso could be used for the artist task)

Nobody else answered but we discussed and think you’re good. I don’t see anything about characters in NF in the rules here

We are just checking every book for every letter so Crow Magic was used! Because there’s an unknown time crunch we’re not going claims for this one.

Wikipedia includes swimming pools as bodies of water so I would think so!

That one I’m not sure about so will double check
