So you can read 6 books over the next 3ish days. But if you have ones that are low page count and have not been used for either mini and/or cheese we can swap out for higher page counts or books that fit into minis.
Members tab on the official sheet! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/... (plus anything not marked "moved" on the planning sheet)Here's a countdown to round 2: https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown...
We're going to Canada next! All books used in Canada must be completed on or after today! Much easier tasks (except for Moose on cover!)
Woohoo we finished Argentina! I'm off to get us a new country.I've also reached my cap and we've used all my books so can't switch out for any banks so I will be watching from the background lol

Lucy, I was mistaken on what books we can use. It's from June 7th forward! Sorry about that. So feel free to add anything from June 7th forward :)
That’s okay! I keep forgetting too Shan. You can put it in any of the character spots and just put (N)
And this goes for everyone, if the spreadsheet is too much you don't have to use it! You can post in here and and one of us captains can add to the spreadsheet. Just include:Book:
Author (and where from):
Setting:
Characters (as many as you can):
Narrator if listened to audio
Translator if translated
Mini fits for (or we can add this)

Lucy if there's anything we can do to help let me know! If you at least put your books read from May 17 onward on your Tower shelf then I can help you figure out the spreadsheet! Or if you understand the spreadsheet and just are overwhelmed by the minis just put them on the sheet and we will fit them in if they can!
Trio wrote: "Sorry Amanda - another question. So can I not post any more books till the 17th? How does that work now?"You can put them on the banked books tab! At the very least at the end we're going to want to make sure all the highest page counts make it on. If you read something specifically for one of the tasks, let me know and I'll swap out with one of your other books.
I'm in the same boat right now! It sucks because usually I'm in a slumpy mood about now and I'm speed reading so I way underestimated.

Author born there or set there 50% or more
Here's some musical books as recommended by the captains group! (I only have 3 books left for the month so any one feel free to grab)The Rosie Project

Once More with Feeling
The City of Durham, 1434. Out of a storm, an aging minstrel arrives at the cathedral to entertain the city’s most powerful men.
Mother Naked is his name, and the story he’s come to tell is the Legend of the Fell Wraith: the gruesome ‘walking ghost’ some say slaughtered the nearby village of Segerston forty years earlier.
But is this monster only a myth, born from the dim minds of toiling peasants? Or does the Wraith – and do the murders – have roots in real events suffered by those fated to a lifetime of labour? As Mother Naked weaves the strands of the mystery – of class, religion, art, and ale – it starts to seem as though the chilling truth might be closer to his privileged audience than they could ever imagine.
Taking its inspiration from a single payment entered into Durham’s Cathedral rolls, ‘Modyr Nakett’ was the lowest-paid performer in over 200 years of records. Set against the traumatic shadow of the Black Death and the Peasant’s Revolt, Mother Naked speaks back from the margins in a fury of imaginative recuperation.

We can only do each country twice on mini 1 for the whole challenge so if it can fit anywhere else, we will probably move it.
And yeah, just United States is fine!
So the rounds are mid month. It's 17 for the start until June 17 so you are over and we will be strategic about what we use! If you could put any books up to June 17 on the "banked books" tab I'd appreciate it!!
