I am trying to figure out what that flower is too :)
I assume it's poisonous though.

35559 But, I don't think any of mine work, because... one's a tv show (lol) and the others aren't detectives first....
Oi!

35559 That is some good research! It seems like Stephanie Plum has the role of a detective, but is a bounty hunter... I'd Ask the Volconologists, or ask in the thread "Does this work for this task?"
I wikipedia-ed list of fictional detectives. Stephanie Plum is on the list. Also,
Shay O'Hanlon is a coffee shop owner drawn into various capers in a series set in Minnesota by Jessie Chandler, commencing in 2011.
and
Sister Pelagia is an Orthodox nun and teacher in 1890s provincial Russia girls' school in three novels by Boris Akunin.
and
Sandra Pullman, played by Amanda Redman, is a Detective Superintendent in charge of UCOS (Unsolved Crime and Open Case Squad) in BBC New Tricks begun 2005.[21]

My husband loves these books. I'd love to know what you think about them!

35559 My book for 5 could work for 4, as Marlon James was born in Jamaica.
(Jamaica Jamaica, not Queens :)
So I could take 4 and 2!

I am impressed at how bravely you march into 500 page books! I am usually somewhat terrified.

I really should read Black Leopard, Red Wolf and I have the audio out of the library, unstarted, and I could get the book, and ignore the world :)"

Also, I have a 5 hour drive to get my pup aaannnd Marlon James is going to be at the Brooklyn Book Festival! (and I'm going!) aaaannnddd it's the next read for our sci-fi book group.
(I'm psyching myself up for 624 pages...)

35559 I have just finished Louisiana's Way Home
with green trees in the background, and ACID in Kate DiCamillo's name.
What a lovely author she is!
I will begin, but not finish my Zone 3 books until everyone finishes Zone 2. Mine was a quick read.
