I must admit I struggle to decide on favorites:P It is way easier to say who/what book is not among the favorites!

Rhys was a favorite of mine from the first book, but when you get introuced to the other characters in book two, both Morrigan and Azriel is high up there.

Lucien is a definite favorite, but I also really admire Nesta after her change, she has grown into a badass protector!

I have absolutely read the second book the most, but I am having a hard time choosing between that and the third one....=)

That was a good point, them not understanding the tech. But they haven't really tried either, have they? I get the feeling that the wizarding world looks down upon muggles in general, at least in some ways, since they can't do magic and all. Then again technology is kind of magical in its own way, but I suppose they don't see that=P

Is it Circe you are thinking of? The BR for that book starts May 25th according to the sheet, but you can always visit the thread and see if they have started discussing already=) Just give us a link to one of your comments in the discussion afterwards.

What did you think of the book anyway? I was soo close to buying it last weekend, but changed my mind..=/

I just started listening to this book today, finished about three chapters. So far I am a bit annoyed that I have seen the movies so many times, I can't help but compare scenes or picture the movie version when reading...not sure if it is a good thing or a bad thing yet.

I loathe people who give strong negative opinions about people or stuff they have no knowledge of, just because they want to feel superior or important.

Speaking of comparing book and movie, I did sort of miss the voodoo head hanging in the front of the night bus from the movie, it had some funny lines!

I suppose we could do this in one of the reserved spots in the books read thread perhaps. But we would also have to divide them into used and not used and then shuffle them around when new books are used..might be some extra work, but if people want it I can do it=)

Yes I believe so, as long as you read it after the challenge started.

Finished the rest of the book today.

Wow, I think book Lockhart is even more annyoing than the movie character!

Moaning Myrtle is quite a character. (view spoiler)[She really deserves her nickname, I feel that the only thing she does is whine and feel sorry for herself. But I had to smile when she said Harry could share her bathroom if he had died in the Chamber:P (hide spoiler)]

I appreciated the longer explanation (view spoiler)[ Tom gave about how Ginny confided in the diary and got pretty much enslaved by the memory in it. I also noted that Ginny's reaction was described every time a new victim was found or when the diary came into Harry's possession, a clear hint that she could be involved. But not sure if I noticed this because I knew the story or because it was that noticeable... (hide spoiler)]

I think it is a way of making her more equal to girls her age, since she is way smarter than most of them:P She has to have one weak spot/embarrassing trait. All girls have a stupid crush that makes them blind a some point!

I will add some of our BR reads now, that will give some extra points. The classes info are going through the last check for writing errors as we speak and will hopefully be published soon!
