I have Gracie under the waves available if need be, but I will finish the mexican author book first. Let me know if either of you grabs the task=)

Is anybody reading a book for the (coral) reef task?

I'm reading a book for mexican author, but only just started, so feel free to grab that one too those of you looking for tasks!
Laura wrote: "Other teams have had the Day of the Dead task:
Bars and Butterflies
Bread of the Dead
Certain Dark Things"I have Certain Dark Things available, planned to read it for Mexican author after this book or the next.

The Spellout Letters are on the chart. It is 292 pages."Switched your book for Laura's K since yours are already done.
And the read date on your shelf is june 23rd, so just fixed that on the spreadsheet too. If that was incorrect, just switch it back=)
Priya wrote: "Ocean Vuong was born in Vietnam. In case that book can be used for easy country in the itinerary."Great! Could you add a read date to the book? It's on your shelf, but without a date =)
Tricia wrote: "So that's going to be all the travel tasks for the rest of the challenge? We still have two months to go. It's going to be difficult to find spots for all of our books."Mini 2 will be done after 100 completed tasks, yes. But we have 17 remaining countries in Mini 3 with various tasks and several itineraries in Mini 1, so a lot of room left. Only thing is that banked books can't be used for these, so we might have to plan a bit more. But I'm guessing we will get several more cheese to spell out where banked books can be used.
And the minis are extra points after all, it is the page amount per book that give us the real points.

Would Rachel's Cold Eternity technically have a door covering this "bed"?
"I think more of a lid or part of a container when I see that picture.

If anyone has a book with a statue on the cover for Brazil, feel free to replace my book. The book is a bit difficult to get in to, so it might take me a few days.

I enjoyed listening to the end of the Kate Daniels series produced by Graphic Audio. It is so fun to listen when it is a whole cast narrating. The series is also one of my favourites to re-read.
I found several new authors, including Leann Belle, author of the Monsters of Grave Academy series I've started. Not sure if I like it yet and I don't agree with how the author has decided to split one long story into several shorter books.
The let-down of the month was Dark Prince. I read it ten years ago, but didn't like it that much this time around. Question is whether I should try the next book in the series or not...
Jacqueline wrote: "The Future of the American Negro is finished… it was a Dreamscape audio. The default gives it 256 pages."Great! Could you add it to the shelf, it is only on your read shelf right now=)

I hope to finish Zodiac Monsters sometime tomorrow, but that will be my last book for round 1.

Just checking in. I'm still here, reading The Way of Kings. I'm enjoying it, but it's certainly a commitment lol. I won't be picking anything else up until our next month starts :)

Tricia wrote: "I put Demon Copperhead on the spreadsheet filled in for the watermelon task. But you are welcome to move it to a spell out letter instead if that's more useful!
It also has the sun on the cover, i..."Could you add a little bit of the sentence where watermelon is mentioned to the spreadsheet? For reference=)

The Zodiac Hybrids is done, and it has an E-character also. I'll read at least one more book in this series, so we'll have a future Z there for cheese.

Jacqueline, for the book To be perfectly honest, you've written 480 pages, but the book on your shelf has 496. Did you read a different version from the one you shelved, or is it a typo?=)

Welcome Sam A. Always lovely to meet new players. A lot of info in the first posts in this thread, including a link to the planning spreadsheet we're using for our books. Books you've finished from June 7th forward that meet the TT requirements can be used for the challenge.

Antarctica task finished.
NEW TASK: Read a book where a character eats something they have never tasted before.

Have to read
Zodiac Hybrids because of a reviewer deadline, but don't think it fits any task at the moment.
