I find Nick to be an infuriating character. (view spoiler)

Since we never got to know Eduardo that well in previous books I feel that almost everything we get to know about him is a surprise. (view spoiler)

I started yesterday, but I have it on Audio so it goes a bit slow. I am bowing down to Laini Taylor and her imagination! This is a whole new setting! I must admit it is a bit hard to keep track of everything new when listening to audio, so I might have to find a hardcopy and read a bit in that one as well.

I truly like the little detail of (view spoiler)

35559 Cheryl, is it ok for you to discuss Elephants can remember a little more when others have started reading it too? Right now it looks like you are the only one who has finished and there isn't really enough discussion yet for it to count as a BR=)

35559 I am preparing for leaving on vacation on Sunday, as well as moving late in the summer. It has been a lot of packing going on:P

35559 I planned on starting this yesterday but will have to admit defeat and start tomorrow. It is simply too much going on in RL right now, I haven't been able to keep up with my reading schedule at all:P

35559 Done! I can't believe I've managed to get through all seven books in just five weeks! (for me, that is quite good!)

I also realized that I have seen the movie way more than I have read the book because I had completely forgotten how the showdown was in the book version.
The thing that always bothered me in the movie, was that I never quite understood how (view spoiler)

Me too. I know some people have said that the books get repetitive after a while, but I don't agree. Fine, to some extent there are similarities in the books, like them always fighting a new bad guy, but the overall story is quite unpredictable, which is part of why I like this series so much.
35559 And for the second time while listening to these books I am driving my car while bawling my eyes out at the same time. The fact that I knew it was coming didn't help at all. The way it is written makes you feel their pain and sorrow.

I really wanted to join, even signed up for keeper in one of the next matches, but it seems that the dates doesn't fit my vacation plans. I leave on the 23rd for a three week language course, and feel that I have to focus on that during this period. Otherwise I would have played, it looked superfun the last time!
