35559 Love triangles are the worst!!! And so unavoidable in YA fiction....

Shadow and Bone is by far my favorite series starter of the ones you listed for having to read. Legend is fantastic too. Both series are complete so that is a huge bonus :)

I'm going to have to check out I Hunt Killers!

35559 Hmm I just finished an "I" book (Inferno) last Thursday. Not sure when we officially started this stop.

35559 Hey all!

I'm Jacki *waves*

Our team is from all over! I love it! I'm located in northern Minnesota on Lake Superior. I'm an Audiologist (Huh???What??? Can you hear me now???) working at a small VA clinic. My nights are consumed with reading/Goodreads, Netflix binges, and video games...its a rough life ;)

I'm beyond addicted to reading challenges and probably should slow it down but can't seem to stop signing up for stuff. I will read pretty much anything but greatly enjoy fantasy, sci/fi, thrillers and non-fiction books.

Can't wait for this to start :)

I enjoyed it quite a bit :) I had just finished Let's Get Lost by the same author. I think I enjoyed both so much cause they weren't really what I was expecting - which isn't typical of the YA genre.

Jodie - It took me THREE times to get into The Girl Who Played with Fire- but it was SO worth it. That being said, The Throne of Glass series is one of my favorites ever!

You have two of my favorite books there :)

35559 Would you guys consider this a scarlet/gold cover? Not as obviously one or the other but mainly is those 2 colors.

The scarlet is minimal but the gold is obvious. I'd say if we accepted The Rosie Project (Don Tillman, #1) by Graeme Simsion we could probably accept Uprooted by Naomi Novik .

Anyone else have thoughts on that?
