I was briefly looking through the other active goals and I think we are going to have a heck of a time with the 'random shelf' one. In order to qualify the Random shelf has to show up on the first page of shelves for a book - I searched for books that had this shelf marked and the majority of what I was seeing put that shelf NOT on the first page. Anyone find anything else out? Do we get another boon sometime?

21. We have gotten a report on the audio version, but to those reading the book, how are you finding reading so many POVs? Do you feel the book is flowing well, or do you find it disjointed and hard to follow?
I typically enjoy multiple POVs so I don't have a problem with this. The personalities differ enough to make it fairly easy to follow. My only hold-up on the multiple POVs in this book is that they really aren't useful when the majority of the people are still grouped up. I'm assuming this writing style choice will really shine in the books to come.
22. I am having an issue with the ages of the characters (I find them inevitably at least 18 in my head). It seems like the author has written a LOT of backstory and responsibility for a group of characters all under the age of 18. Is this a situation where the ages are dictated by the "YA" category, or do you think the author made the characters this young for a purpose?
As others have mentioned - for the genre (fantasy), you can really get away with younger characters shouldering a ton of responsibility. A good portion of the books I read are YA - I love YA fantasy series. Characters tend to have adult-like responsibilities but they still maintain some sense of innocence (books aren't as porny).
23. The group has entered the prison. Do you think they will be successful in their mission? Do you think Bo Yul-Bayour is in the prison? Or do you think the whole job is a wild goose chase?
As I finished this book earlier I'll write out what I expected when I first encountered this scene. I'll spoiler tag it just in case I give something away :) (view spoiler)
24. We find out two interesting tidbits about Jesper in his chapter. Did you find either one of these surprising? Do you think either will play a part in the story, or is it just to help us better understand his character?
COMPLETELY surprised by Jesper (view spoiler) . Not surprised what so ever by (view spoiler)
25. We finally find out the rest of Kaz's backstory and why he wears the gloves. At the end of the section, Kaz has completely gone off mission and has Pekka right where he wants him. Do you think he will kill him? And how do you think the rest of the group will react when they find out what he is really doing?
I totally expect Kaz to kill him and I expect the group to just have to go with it. The situation they are in they can't afford to doubt or question him. Maybe after if the survive the situation - but I dont expect it to be an issue.
