Review: This book was a beautiful, fun ride! I really enjoyed the writing style of this author; it was lovely but not overly flowery. And I adored the characters, especially January, our heroine. She had moments where I was questioning her intelligence, but she was real and brave and so much fun to follow on her journey. This is a great book to escape into and just enjoy. Definitely recommend!

Got it added, Zoe, and just finished my book, so added that, too! I'll have to do my completion post tomorrow... I'm still feeling bleh and need to get to bed.

I'll probably be done with Ten Thousand Doors today, but I probably won't be able to finish anything else before round 3. My body is trying to get sick and I'm taking it easy to fight it off, lol.

@ Zoe, I think completion posts are always a good idea! I can get those added for this round (so I don't forget tomorrow) and we can try doing completion posts from here on out. And if you can get through that book for #5, that would be great :)

Looks like the countdown has been posted! We have 16 hours from this post to finish our initial tasks. How is everyone doing? Let me know if anything needs to be updated on the spreadsheet if you don’t have access.

@ Zoe, yeah I think we have to wait til our initial task books are done before we can start in on our safezone books, unfortunately.

@ Zuza, ok, I can take over task #10. I can read One Word Kill, which is only 200 pages, so I should be able to get through it quickly.

Just finished The Nickel Boys and it's destroyed me. So good but so heartbreaking!

I know we can't start safezone books before the initial tasks are done, so does anyone need help with a task? I can see if I can help!

I'm not sure if we'll have all of next week for the initial tasks, but we definitely have til the end of next week for the Safehaven stuff. They usually post the countdown when it's coming up, but it changes each round!
