I love Mozart's Requiem! And this piece is properly intense, for sure.
Hello all! It’s nice to pop into GR and see so much chatting! I’m Kerri and I live in Massachusetts. I also work full time as a med lab tech, so I tend to be on and chatty in the evenings (EST evenings, of course). This is my third TT, but it’s been awhile since I was in a huuuge reading slump last year. I’m already past my goal of 50 this year, so I think the slump is over ;)More about me: I live with my husband, two kiddos, and three cats. I love fantasy/sci-fi, though I’ve been exploring other genres this year.I love playing video games (currently Borderlands 3) and board games (the weirder, the better!). And I love music!
Oh, and I’m pretty competitive, just ask my poor husband, lol.
Anyways, I gotta get back to work. I’m excited to get to know everyone!
Cause I'm nosy, I took a peek at Team Ira's thread and can I just say that I looooove that picture! I'm hoping to rep that angry goddess well.

Hi Susanne and Jessi!
Definitely agree with doing the safezones, but I’m not sure about whether we have to finish them in order or if we can just skip to safezone 3. I’ll have to check when I have access to a computer.
Just finished my book and updated the sheet. Gotta get to bed, so I'll do my completion post tomorrow. Sorry I couldn't do more!

Completion PostBook: Murder on the Orient Express
Task: #10 - MPG Crime (marked as Mystery > Crime)
Rating: 3 stars
Review: This was an enjoyable read! I've been reading this murder mystery for forever and I'm glad I finally did. It was a lot more humorous than I was expecting, but it was still twisty and thrilling. The ending was a bit of a stretch, for me, but I still liked it. Now I want to read more Agatha Christie!
Zuza wrote: "From the list I will be reading Došel jsem daleko by Ishmael BeahWe can read in different languages, right?"
Yeah, as long as it meets the other criteria, you can read in whatever language.
Agreed! Murder on the Orient Express will work for #10 and I've already started it, so we should be good :)

The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware
Qualification: Tagged MPG Crime ... or at least I hope it is"
I don't think that book is gonna work because Crime isn't one of the main page genres. Is there something on the Freign Lands list that you could read? Cause I could use Murder on the Orient Express for the MPG Crime prompt, instead.
Actually, I'm gonna go with Crazy Rich Asians for #4 since it's shorter and will probably be quicker to get through, lol. And Kevin Kwan is from Singapore!
I can do task #1 with Murder on the Orient Express and #4 with Nevernight since Jay Kristoff was born in Australia.
