35559 I'm almost done with #6, I'll take a look and see if I have anything that will cover #10.

Exactly! Our three are so different from each other.
Felicia is our oldest and was a stray, so she doesn't care for strangers, but she loooooves to cuddle with us. I usually wake up with her laying on my hip or getting in my face, lol. She's also the most vocal.
Nelson and Marmalade are brothers. We adopted them from a vet clinic who saved them after their mom was killed. They were bottle-fed and basically raised by humans, so they are big fans of people. Their the ones that come out to meet or friends when they come over. Nelson is our big Alpha and snuggles when he wants to snuggle, lol. Otherwise, he likes to be left to his own devices. Marmalade is kind of an idiot, but we love him, heh. He's a goofball and our most rambunctious cat.

35559 Welcome to Team Ira, Rebecca! Your cats sound like they have a lot of personality! I don't understand folks that think all cats are aloof... we have three cats and they are all so different.

Sorry I was MIA yesterday... we spent most of the day out and about and then I passed out in bed while trying to read, lol. Catching up on the chatting and finishing off my Lava book today. How's everyone doing this Sunday?

35559 Hello, team visitors!

I like participating in BOMs because they tend to get me out of my comfort zone. I’ve been trying to expand my reading horizons.

35559 I’m actually reading a book for #6, so that ones covered.

35559 If I can get Wilder Girls from the library, then I will be joining in the discussion! It looks interesting and a little weird, which I love.

I'm concerned about missing things, too! But I've honestly never actually *tried* to listen at a faster speed. I just find that I get distracted easier just listening to a book as opposed to reading with my eyes. Probably because I'm usually doing something else whilst listening (driving, cleaning, etc.). I may give it a try with this one, though, because it is draaaaging.

35559 Yeah, mostly finishing up books for Lava and my forever read of The Count of Monte Cristo. I'm listening to the audiobook and it's forever long, lol. I really need to try to get used to listening to books at higher speeds.

35559 I'm planning on reading Gideon the Ninth and possibly Wilder Girls. I like to participate in BOM, though I tend to do it more during challenges. Challenges keep me focused, lol.

35559 @Jessi - I don't wanna mess anything up. I have a separate shelf for TT possibilities at the moment, anyways. I'll probably put stuff on there until we start rolling. (I understand being picky about things!)

It's pretty much my ideal! I love being near water and I, obviously, love reading. It was ridiculously relaxing.

35559 A question about our planning sheet: Should we wait until the link is removed before adding books to it or can we throw some on there if we have some books in mind already?

35559 I spent the weekend in a hotel by the beach with my BFF and her mom, so it was a pretty awesome weekend! I'm still getting used to living so close to the ocean again.

Happy belated anniversary, Susanne!

35559 I can do Into Thin Air: A Personal Account of the Mount Everest Disaster for #6 and I'm still looking around for something that will fit one of the other prompts.
Sep 22, 2019 05:08PM

35559 That is correct, unfortunately. This is the last round, though, so that's something to keep in mind.

That sounds amazing! I miss being in a choir... it’s been awhile since I’ve properly stretched my vocal cords.
