I'm going to hold up on Masquerade til next round too - this round is hard to fit books. I may hold up on the rest of my "square" books also, and focus on Us. Hopefully that's ok. I just finished one of the books for it today though. Luckily there was a character named Ugh. :)

Oh that sounds awful - pain from everywhere! That may need to be some powerful book to distract. If you find one, share it with us - we can all read it :)

Keely - I'm always way less focused when I'm captaining (which I cannot do anymore because it's just too hard without notifications working). You are doing an amazing job captaining, and I'm sure your reading will be equally great.

It's hidden now, but the Unsung is letter R1L011. So weird that it won't show the tltle there. It shows up in the mini-challenge, and shows my name. What a puzzling glitch.
And - well done everyone - with one of the hardest words too!

It looks like the second Burundi is also completed but somehow my book (The Unsung) isn't showing up in the title part? I'm not sure how to fix that though

I'd be happy to add The Midnight Feast to the ladder. But yeah - with the start and end titles of the ladders being more flexible, I'm happy to wait to read it another time too. It's neat we are getting this tricky challenge figured out so early! It gives us time to read all the books :)

Of course, no problem!"Thanks!

Awesome! Camilla would you be willing to put The Night Shift in for M06 in the second square?

I hope you feel better Heather!
Camilla that's good thinking a bout that title ladder and repeating books. I hadn't wondered about that yet :) But I think those ladders and squares are pretty fun to figure out! Also, the square I figured out has two T to T books (only makes sense to a NBRC challenge reader :). I'm happy to have someone take over either of those, if you have a book you want to put into that square (and it has to be a past NBRC book of the month, of course). I for sure am reading Traitor's Blade but the other spots are up for grabs! Like, if you want to put your The Husbands Secret there instead.

I finished my first book
Arrow's Fall (on audio) - it was entertaining enough (though pretty repetitive since I recently listened to books one and two. I had some driving last night and this morning, and it was perfect for that. Sadly it only has a D and no other letters in our word. It's the only one I "had" to read this round without looking for letters though.
I'm reading a book by a U author, and my next listen will be a U title.
Oh and Melissa I hope you like Hyperion! It's one that has stuck with me.

Hooray! I will enter some of the books I know I will finish round 1, while listening to my first (which I HAVE to finish because I have to return it).

Hi! I'm Suzanne. I am excited about the challenge and its so perfect our team is from all around the world! I'm only on the app until Saturday, as I'm at my dad's. And will for sure look for U books.
I created my shelf last night. I think it is 25_wheel or 25wheel.
I love reading most genres and kind of alternate between planning and being a mood reader.

I checked in my last two books- I echo the "phew". I absolutely LOVED playing with all of you!!

Thank you Lexi! That helps a ton. I'll do some calculations.

I overestimated the number of really long books I could read - oops! The biggest "problem" is that both grandchildren decided they wanted to spend the week here, and I've made 5 trips to the vet, and had to make the same number to Pocatello (about 3 hours round trip) in the past week. Sigh. I'll finish my current book but will be one short of my total allotment. I was thinking I could instead read two shorter books, but their combined page count would be less than my current one, so ?? But if that would be better to read the two instead of the one, please let me know!

Oh and I may have to choose shorter books for the other two - we'll see!

I should be done with 2 of my last 4 tomorrow.

I liked Minis 2 and 3 the most but I learned the most from Mini 1.

I finished my Nepal book so I THINK we are good to go on the next itinerary (Captains can confirm). I thought I'd finish it yesterday, but ended up being unexpectedly busy.

It's good to see you Cathy. I've sure been thinking of you!
