35559 I checked in my last two books for this round.

Tati I hope you recover quickly!

35559 I will for sure finish It's Different This Time and A Quiet Life in the Country (which has an instrument on the cover if we end up needing it). I don't think I'll finish Thirteenth Tale, but I'll start it - and may try to knock off something else short before Saturday.

35559 @Shan-A~ If you want to read that book with the guy holding the guitar, I will read something instead of A Quiet Life in the Country. I'll remove that one from the mini right now and keep it as a backup til I hear back from you :)

35559 I finished my musician book and added a musical instrument book to the mini. Once I finish Soul Music, I'll see what is still needed - I checked and The Mystwick books are available on Audible Plus in the US too - thanks Preeti for the suggestion!

35559 Adding it right now - sorry about that!

35559 I'm done with my last R3 book. Fun stuff!

35559 Thanks! That is super helpful!

35559 Oh and I'll finish my "music" book for the genres tomorrow.

35559 Question: If I have the word Baroque, but it's talking about architecture, not music, and it still work for the "music genre" part of the upcoming mini?

35559 Both look teal to me too

35559 Yay I see we got a green book! I'm going to switch to the audible version of Open Season (I'd only read the prologue so far), since it has a brown cover and an additional letter provided by narrator name. I'll hold off and read something else first, til the Color mini opens up again :)

35559 I will probably grab the "diary/epistolary" format, if people don't mind. My RL book group is doing The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, which is a book I really liked, so I'll probably re-read it so I can actually remember it better :)

35559 Keely, do you want us to claim books that fit the new mini before we read them (if we are positive we'll read them)? Or would you rather have us wait til they are read?
Nov 06, 2025 07:36AM

35559 Wow that's a challenging challenge. Preeti - so cool you have a book for #5!!
Nov 05, 2025 09:45AM

35559 I think it's great we are getting fairly close to finishing off those two repeatable minis. That'll open up a bunch of easy tasks. And I'm so amazed how we got through the holiday mini. What a wonderful team!
Nov 03, 2025 11:04AM

35559 Lol and maybe it's blue. I hate colored covers - that's why I stay off that mini usually :)
Nov 03, 2025 11:02AM

35559 Oh wow - I didn't realize that either - I'm glad you looked, Camilla!

I'm probably going to read A Second Chance (The Chronicles of St Mary's #3) by Jodi Taylor next, as Isaac Newton is in a couple of chapters (they time travel and visit him and apparently he steals something). So I think that counts (if not - let me know!)

But do you think it's a teal cover? To me it is, but I think we are supposed to get team opinions (or at least captain opinions) on covers and I'm not sure teal shows up on tin eye.

35559 I think this week, I'm going to change up my original picks and focus on "N"s, if that's ok with you Captains. Lol partially driven by the fact that Finland has 2 Ns and mostly driven by the fact that I enjoy finding books :)

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

35559 I think we need to move my "The Midnight Feast" to M11 instead of M07, since M07 needs to start with T and end with E. I'm reading the Husband's Secret right now, and I'll try to get to The Thirteenth Tale soon. I should be done with my Chocolate Chase book today - it's long (well 544 pages) and hasn't been compelling enough for me to want to pick it up :)

I'm glad you made it home safely!
