35559 Lisa Kay - I need a favor. I got a Nora Roberts Book from the library named Portraits of Passion but GR doesn't have a entry listed. Here's a link I found for the book (Amazon didn't have it)

Book Link and this is the only book cover that I was able to find.

THe ISBN I have is 978-073359461-8. ETA: Page count is 315.

Could you help me out to add an entry in GR?
35559 *jumps* I can do it, LK!

35559 Good Morning Team!

Oooh, that looks wonderful, Leslie. I can just lie there all day with some chocolate..

I stayed off GR (so proud of it) today so that I can finish Memories of Ice (Malazan Book of the Fallen, #3) by Steven Erikson . This is the 3rd book in the series and each books are soo dense and it requires effort to read it. At the end of the each book, I realize it's worth it. So far, this book is my favorite. I'm really loving Erikson's world - it's so complicated but so absolutely detailed. And a happy dance because I finished 1180 pages. It's bed time for me (mostly)

35559 Kristin - which do you prefer - iPad or Kindle? I use iPad if I'm reading those doorstoppers. It's very easy if I want to refer to the map (and they ALWAYS have one). Otherwise it's my Sony for me.

35559 Actually, you should not keep it charged constantly. Basically because the battery is not used and that is not good. You have to use your battery then charge and so on so that your battery gets a workout.
35559 Good Morning, LK! Hope you had good rest.

No worries about the puzzle. It happens. And I guessed right too. *Happy Dance*

I really like Doublets. *hint hint*
35559 Whew! Scared me a minute there.
35559 Um, isn't it between broken rock and Sargeant?
35559 LK - For the word ladder, I think you have left a clue in between..

35559 Oh, Kushiel series is one of my favourite too! Loved the first trilogy the best.

Another fav UF series:

Rosemary and Rue (October Daye, #1) by Seanan McGuire A Local Habitation (October Daye, #2) by Seanan McGuire An Artificial Night (October Daye, #3) by Seanan McGuire Late Eclipses (October Daye, #4) by Seanan McGuire One Salt Sea (October Daye, #5) by Seanan McGuire Ashes of Honor (October Daye, #6) by Seanan McGuire

I'm waiting eagerly for the next book.

35559 Diane - I love that book. It was a really good contemporary at a time when there didn't seem (to me) to be that many around. I hope you like it too.

35559 I finished The Host (The Host, #1) by Stephenie Meyer just a bit earlier. I wanted to start off my account ;) It's 619 pages.

It was very good. Totally not like Twilight (and I couldn't believe it was the same author!). The only complaint I had was that you have to explicitly believe that Melanie loved Jared hook, line and sinker. I really couldn't understand why she loved him. Not really. But the author really did an outstanding job of making Melanie and Wanderer separate entities. I'm going to use this as my theme book since both Melanie & Wanderer are such strong female characters.

Has anybody else read the book or seen the movie?

Nope, no points. But they so addictive that I'm not reading!

35559 I'm working my way through Memories of Ice (Malazan Book of the Fallen, #3) by Steven Erikson (1180) pages and starting The Host (The Host, #1) by Stephenie Meyer (619) pages bringing my total to 1799 pages. I'm hoping to complete both by this weekend. Let's see.
