LK - it's just my wishful thinking. GR says its 100 pages but Amazon says 158. I'm just checking with you. Sorry for the extra work.
If we are going by Amazon count, then
would not count, I suppose? Amazon estimates it to be 158.. (why couldn't the book have just 2 more pages??)
@Diane: I haven't heard of them. Thanks for the rec - I'll have to check my library. I love the cover of the second - it looks more creepy than the first.Diane ~Firefly~ wrote: "@Vi have you tried either
or
for your old house/ghost fix?"
The next puzzle is up. It's a word search consisting of Pastries (many of which I don't know but it's making my mouth water. How is that possible??)Any takers?

Ellinor, yes you both can steal the same book from that person as long as the person read that book before/on the same day as you.
I don't get it.. What do you mean?Lisa Kay wrote: "Ah! Probably dependent upon on how it was put in the eBook into GRs database."
I finished
yesterday. It was a very ok book. It had some of my favorite settings - old house, restoration (even though I know squat about antiques) and GHOSTS. But the book's main weakness is the main character - Melanie. Honestly, she's supposed to be 39 but she acts as if she's in 20s and it is SO not cute. She dates a guy who by all indication is using her and everyone from her dog to her father and a random person is warning her against but she STILL persists with him. Arghh. She just drove me mad. I might not continue with the series. (I was so looking forward to this)
So far the app (atleast for this) is well-behaved. The only time I had an issue was when I added a ebook-only version in the main GR site, I couldn't see it in my phone at all. It was there in the main site. I chalked it off it being ebook-only.Rebecca, yes edition. I can't change that as well in the app.
I'm using iPhone GR app and I've been logging books from the phone (when I'm too lazy to get up and go to the comp). So far, all the books have been tagged fine with all shelves/dates set. I haven't encountered any issue actually.
LK, I seem to remember you saying that we can't tag books to the challenge shelf if we are using the mobile app. I've been testing it the past few books and I have been able to. Is it still the case?
Melissa, have you read the spin-off, Chaos Series? I think it's her first trad-published book.I started
today and it has one of the most irritating heroines I've ever met. She's supposed to be 39 but she's acting high school age. She's so judgemental of everyone around her that makes me go Arghh! But I like the premise - old houses and ghosts!!
