Yep, I think it's only one ebook. I might test it again when I read another ebook only.

I don't get it.. What do you mean?

I finished
yesterday. It was a very ok book. It had some of my favorite settings - old house, restoration (even though I know squat about antiques) and GHOSTS. But the book's main weakness is the main character - Melanie. Honestly, she's supposed to be 39 but she acts as if she's in 20s and it is SO not cute. She dates a guy who by all indication is using her and everyone from her dog to her father and a random person is warning her against but she STILL persists with him. Arghh. She just drove me mad. I might not continue with the series. (I was so looking forward to this)

So far the app (atleast for this) is well-behaved. The only time I had an issue was when I added a ebook-only version in the main GR site, I couldn't see it in my phone at all. It was there in the main site. I chalked it off it being ebook-only.
Rebecca, yes edition. I can't change that as well in the app.

I'm using iPhone GR app and I've been logging books from the phone (when I'm too lazy to get up and go to the comp). So far, all the books have been tagged fine with all shelves/dates set. I haven't encountered any issue actually.

Leslie, I'm amazed. What was the book?

LK, I seem to remember you saying that we can't tag books to the challenge shelf if we are using the mobile app. I've been testing it the past few books and I have been able to. Is it still the case?

Congrats, Kristin!! Great news!

Melissa, have you read the spin-off, Chaos Series? I think it's her first trad-published book.
I started
today and it has one of the most irritating heroines I've ever met. She's supposed to be 39 but she's acting high school age. She's so judgemental of everyone around her that makes me go Arghh! But I like the premise - old houses and ghosts!!

Hahahaha!! Leslie, too funny!!!

I agree completely, Leslie. Most of her books have that irritating ability and from the books I've read
was the worst. And those characters whisper a lot. Oh, I forgot to mention the best thing about MM - there was only a little "whispering" involved.

yesterday and I really liked it. The first half of the book, I was like: Get AWAY from him!! When she was thinking of breaking up, I was completely cheering her. Tack was horrible in the first half. The second half picked up and I was able to buy into their relationship. And from my recent KA books, I think this was the best edited of the lot, in the sense that it was cohesive and I didn't feel like there was a lot of un-needed stuff in the book. I think I surprised myself by how much I ended up liking the book. :D

I finished
yesterday and it was just awesome. I loved it! A sad, sweet love story with a unique setting & Time combination. Now I need something less intense to read..
I'm thinking
- Even though I'm not a biiig fan of KA, I need this book for another challenge. Or something else.

I finished
today for another challenge. It's a YA PNR/Fantasy lite with settings based on Russia. It was ok but I didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to. I can't put my fingers on the exact reason though..
I finally got around to starting
and Leslie, you're right on the recommendation. The prose is so lyrical, the setting is so different from the usual England and the characters... they are darn good. I couldn't put the down at all. Thanks for the rec!

LOL, Catherine!!

Catherine, yes post it here so that we can all shamelessly steal it :P

Catherine - Great! Let us know if you encounter any interesting books :)

Catherine: If you want to check out the books our "enemies" have read, then you have to go to their "view books" link. Instead of going to each team's challenge, you can use
this spreadsheet where there is a link next to each person. Let me know if you encounter any errors. I'll be happy to help :)

Thanks, LK!

Mary, yes it can. I asked LK the same q earlier and she said yes.
