1. Click on the "date read" so that the books are displayed in descending order (books you finished recently will be at the top)
2. Display 30 (or any number you prefer) books per page. You can select this at the bottom of the page.
3. Select batch edit and click select all so that all 30 books in that page are selected. Now add it to the tower team shelf. Repeat this until you reach the date read of April 12.
This is the only way I know that is less tedious.

Regarding your question, tag all the books you've finished on/after April 12 regardless of the start date. You'll have to batch edit and move to your tower teams shelf.

On the book front, I took a break from

How's everybody doing with their reading?

It's interesting.. this contradiction. It'll probably have even more play if the other brothers survived. They were more moldable than Mahon.
The other interesting thing in the book - Christianity vs Druidism and the Norse religion. Interesting how religion is being played.

The thread is HUGE so you don't really have to go through it all. I'll give you the important things you'll want to know:
1. The mods had a challenge that runs from June 1- July 19. We've pretty much completed it so it's just FYI for you.
2. From July 8 - July 21, we are facing off Leather Jacket Black (LJB), another Tower Team. The challenge is to read 100 books in 2 weeks. That's coming up in 2 days.
3. For the August month, we have to come up with our challenge. The mods are taking a break that month. The captains have come up with some 17 categories. Could you head over here to vote the top 10 categories you would like?
I think that summarized pretty much everything. If I've missed anything, I'm sure the team will jump in :)

I'm halfway through

It's mostly a mix but I'm probably averaging about 400+ pages with atleast 2 800-1000+ pager thrown in every month. Chunksters are really a time-investment but their enjoyment factor can't be denied :)

1. (view spoiler)
2. The battle with the Northmen was interesting in many aspects:
- It really highlighted the difference between Mahon & Brian. I wish Brian would imbibe some aspects of a diplomat.
- Brian's study of the other war generals - I was impressed when I first read about and I was still impressed.
- The conversation between Mahon & Brian regarding the wounded: I'm torn in between. I can't exactly accept Brian's decision. I wish there was a middle ground.
- The conversation between Mahon & Brian when they are back at the Castle from the battle: that was really illuminating.
3. And the Aw! moment - when Brian hands over the 3 Norse Babies to a couple for them to raise. It was good to see he still has his conscience.
And Gormlaith is kicking ass so far. She might be my favorite h in the book so far. Even Fiona is paling in comparison to her but I can help but wonder how/when she'll turn up again.
So, up till this point, with the latest developments of the battle, I can't say I'm liking Brian much. I was rooting for him at the start but his decisions at the battle aren't something that I can stomach easily. Oh, I still admire him but like? I still have half the book left to go so that might change.

If you all like the friendly inter-team idea, then we could just invite all the teams.

I just got past the scene of (view spoiler) I really felt for her.

@Karen - I've heard the same about Kate Morton too. I will try her once soon hopefully.
