35559 Goodreads awards are on. I could swear there used to be a write in field for the opening round....

meh... I haven't read a single book from the ones on the list. I guess this year I'm going to be one of those people that votes her known authors.

35559 awwww, best wishes for the tiny tyrant!

I'm still under water with work. Eni and I already had words about me not sticking to regular schedule.

Since I'm not that an irrational being, I kinda am compromising, and yesterday I did stop working at a normal time, since it wasn't worth the effort.

Today will be a different kind of story. I can't remember if I already told that to my sister. I hope so.

That been said, reading is not something I managed to do since last friday. I'm hoping since work deadline is tomorrow, that I can change that next weekend

35559 Judith do you need help?

I just got out of a call (and I'm pretty much done for the day) although totally wiped after spending 10 hours looking at screens

35559 Well, the poncho seemed like a good thing to learn how to do increases.

I mostly stay with hats and scarves. Simple and practical things.

I also alternate between knitting and crochet. I love crochet, but my 20 years working in the IT world hands don't.

I also made some fingerless gloves for Eni last year, because she gets really cold whilst at the computer, and with her classes being online last year - yep, sister of the year, I tell you!

I'm mostly self taught with youtube. It was hard at the beginning because portuguese knitting has a different way of holding the yarn and do the stiches.

I got lucky, and came across VeryPink Knits, and she has a whole tutorial playlist dedicated to portuguese knitting - the basic stuff. But, it was the basic stuff I needed, sooooo

35559 I am in a poncho knitting kick lately - maybe because summerly temps gave way to cold ones during halloween.

I finished one for my niece yesterday but forgot to take picture

35559 And since I have been working since 10 AM, maybe I need to face the fact that there is no way in hell I'll be reading anything today. So. I guess it's time to remove my Wild Sign from the spreadsheet. Sigh.

Ohhhhh Eliot.... would he cook for me? Not that it would be a requirement. He can do whatever he wants and I'll say: more, please!

35559 I also just called Eni's phone (she was reading on the couch) and started singing "lonely.... I am so lonely"

If I have to be working... aka not reading, it seems fair the rest of my loved ones would not be reading too.

- He is not a dude. You're a dude. This... this is a man. A handsome, muscular man.

Sadly, it's the ES Prime for us here. It had Leverage till last year, BUT, since it was in Spanish only, once they did the Vodafone PT - ES Prime partnership, they took it down.

Oh well, at least it has Supernatural. And I can get pretty yarn without delivery costs.

35559 No rotting vegetables from me. He was.. too rightful and serious as cap. Johnny storm was naughtier. And I love me some naughty smile.

The only reason she hasn't seen Leverage yet, it's because the darn thing isn't available in any of our streaming services!

And now that the first grumbling of the day is done, I need a quick break before my meeting.

Just so you know. Overtime during weekends SUCKS

35559 The Sweet Tea Witches Series covers are orange. They're tiny - around 180-220 pages. But, they are quick & funny reads.

and how cute are those covers?

35559 Since I'm still waiting for the urgent developments to be available for testing, I managed to sneak read the Dare to Try series.

I'm currently half way through Wild Sign. Let's hope my current migraine lets go and I'll get to finish it later tonight, or tomorrow.

Odds are that I will be working this weekend, but, I'm planning on doing reading breaks, if needed.
