She is also discovering the rush that is to go to the library and bring a bad full of books to read.
Last Easter Break she managed to read around 1200 pages in a week.
I'm telling you, if the mods ever decide to do a Diary of a Wimpy Kid type of book challenge, I'm recruiting her. Well... I would, but sadly, Eni has dibs.

ETA: not that anyone will listen to poor ..."
I was there at that debate. There's something about Eric Bana as Trojan Prince that calls to my soul, so, I'm quite happy with the sorting.

My shelf

Yes, May 15 at 9 PM London time, so I guess that's 11 PM to you, unless the time zone converter failed me.

This. This is quite important. I had my share of forced BOMs in the past, so now I have a complicated relationship with them.
Nobody should read something they don't want or don't feel comfortable to. And we advocate that principle.

But I like the party idea. Let's assemble the gang.

*looks at teams*
Pandora aka box opener extraordinaire - Judith
Achilles aka hot guy with defective heel that wants to be famous - Jenny
Hector aka also hot guy that fights the impossible battle to defend his brothers & family - Sonia & Sammy
Are you sure that was Cat's goal?

BOM points
Writing a day's worth of discussion questions = 40 points
Participating in a current BOM (participating in discussion) = 20 points
The DQ's volunteers are randomized, and we might get lucky and earn a spot, or more often, not, since they are more volunteers than spots. And we can only have one member per team getting the spot.
For participation, we all can participate. If we participate, aka read the book and answer 3 days of questions, we get the 20 extra points for that book.
Also. We need to read the book. Otherwise, no points will be earned.

*waves*
It seems that we are going to be on opposite sides of the war - Sammy and I are on Team Hector.
*sad face*

Yep. We even have some
Although we also have two mods on our team, so, it appears no mischief nor shennanigans this time
I even managed to type that with a straight face!!!!

It's a relatively short book but at least it will give us some extra points for the BOM participa..."
I just read the synopsis, and I'm not sure if I should join or not. It sounds like a book to make Sonia cry.

It has been happening for a while Mary. It did the same for me a couple of weeks ago, and this weekend it did the same to Eni.
So I guess it's a security measure of sorts?

And some more tweaking that I can't remember.

I would complain, but I'm paid to be annoying and nit pick, basically a big pain in the developers' petunia. Life is good :D

But your shenanigans are missed... :-)"
Yeah yeah. I wasn't the one thinking about devious tasks for Sinful Towers :D
It was two editions ago... Can you believe it?

It will not be a rainbow fantasy, but dark and gory and oh so bloody haha. So you'll probably definitely have to be in the mood! :-..."
Sure thing. I listened to the audible sample and was curious about it, so, it's a possibility

And it was glorious. I'd say you miss my shennanigans, but I'm pretty sure E and Cat keep you entertained.
Plus, not dreading to go to sleep because you never know what crazy reality you will wake up to is a nice sensation.
*giggles*
I confess I sometimes miss the "why do you always do that when I am sleeping" or the way everybody run for cover when I started with "So, I've been thinking..."

which is almost 700 pages. So it might take me a while. It's also a bit darker than what I am used to, and focus on escaping an abusive relationship and domestic violence. Which means that I'll probably will curl in a corner with some K M Neuhold or A.J. Sherwood after. Or maybe even some Ty&Zane re-reads because I need the comfort.

So many familiar faces and a few new ones. And already lots to read when coming online in the morning - just how I like it hehe.
I'll be a quiet co-cap this time around and ..."
Ooohhhh I have that one on my list too. I'd say I join you, but I better wait to see if I'm in the mood for a big fantasy commitment when you start it.
