Sounds good Alysa. I'm done for this week then. Time to head to the library and try to find some long mysteries for Week 4.

Thats awesome Rebecca. We are so winning the BOM challenge so far. :)

Okay. If we don't need it for an easy animal, it might work for yellow cover for a couple of extra points. As usual, it looks much more yellow in person.

I am a chapter away from finishing a book that I was planning to save for next week as a mystery. However, it has squirrel in it if we want to use it to complete an easy collection. We could also move
London and
Penguins and Mortal Peril to easy if that would help. If Alysa and Suzanne are both going to finish their books and we use the BOM, that would finalize a collection.

I was hoping for no mini-challenge this week, just because I spend too much time searching for books and not reading and it's a busy week with less free time than usual. Ah well, at least mystery/thriller is my favourite genre.

Maybe.
What do all you others think?"Looks gray on my screen, sorry.

I have to read
for another challenge in week 4. Is it purple enough do we think?

Fixed Alysa, sorry about that.

Do you think we could get a point because I have a flying squirrel living in my lodge? I set up the live trap today, so in theory I'll have photo proof sometime in the next day or so. :D

I haven't started it yet, but I do intend to read it still. And it is the same as the book Jessi shows, it has several tricky animals in it. 10/23 I finished sea slug and angelfish. :D Today I will finish malamute and maybe macaw.

I'd go for option C and then read the clownfish book if there was time. We read fewer long books this second week and went down in points. So clearly, long books are the only way to win. :D And I like winning. In theory. Never having actually done it before. ;P
I finished my third round of Backroom BOM questions today.
My furnace guy is finally here. Cross your fingers for me please.

Good luck with your midterms wren. I kind of miss school and even tests. :D
My furnace is out, so I've been hanging around waiting for my furnace guy to call back. Good for reading, not good for my bank balance.

I have a peacock book I can read if we need to complete the easy animal collection, but I'll focus on the tricky ones for now. I assume people will find lots of animals as they go along.

Re: Day Two - not a lot of wilderness fans here, are there? :)

I was laughing way too hard at myself trying to come up with thos..."I'm impressed Jessi. I read the whole novel last night and couldn't have come up with 5 questions about that.
Rebecca wrote: "How are you feeling Allison Ann?"So much better thanks Rebecca. I only rarely sound like a 3 pack a day smoker now.

That cover is like fine dark chocolate with some hazelnut on top."Chocolate is as blandly gray tasting as that cover is, so I agree.

Yay!"You mean that super gray cover? :D

Added my last two books to the spreadsheet. We had a power outage this morning I had forgotten about. Good excuse to read ahead for Week 3.

We only have 36 books listed on the planning spreadsheet, so I'm assuming it is okay if I go a bit over my 120%? Thought I might read the Backroom BOM tonight since is fairly useless in points and I'm assuming not chock full of tricky animals. :D
