i love how every year i've only read like 10 books across all the categories and yet every year i'm still surprised lol

i'll be finishing the one i have on the spreadsheet that works for E either tonight or tomorrow morning but i think that will be the last one from me this round

i'm done for this round as well

i know i've used both authors and characters from short story collections in the past so unless they've changed things i think it's okay

i think girly drinks will be my last book for this round although if it turns out that it would be better to save it for next round i can do that too since it can only be used for O this round but could be used for G or M next round

i think it starts on saturday, and from what i remember of previous wheels i think they give us our new word on wednesday although they might have changed it, should be soon though.

oops, i just fixed mine so they should all be on my wheel shelf now

yeah i think i'm reading about twice as much as i signed up for bc i was in a reading slump during the signups, but if we go over we can just take off the books with the shortest page numbers since those are worth the fewest points anyway

i think i'm going to start with The Goddess of Nothing At All by Cat Rector and Hunted by Darcy Coates.

i was going to see if Dead Space by Kali Wallace would fit any letters this round but i figured i should save it in case we get a W next time lol. still want to try to read it sometime in october since it's horror though.

I read The Hunger last year and I loved it. The Hole sounds interesting as well so I'll definitely check that out!

hi i'm devann. i've done wheel a few times before so looking forward to it, but i need to break out of the cycle i've been in the last month or so of mostly reading graphic novels / novellas / kid's books since most of those won't count. if anyone has any good adult horror book recommendations [i'm pretty over YA at this point] i'd love to hear them since i love to read more horror in september/october but keep striking out with basically everything i've tried so far this year.

i suppose it's possible i could end up adding a ton of books in the next few months and .have something to work with next year but i'm trying to keep it under control lol. i was just getting so stressed out by my tbr [even though it was tiny compared to most of yours, only like 200 or so] that i was pretty ruthless about deleting stuff.

i would bump up my goal again but i now only have 2 books left on my tbr added before this year lol. i'm gonna miss doing this challenge next year but also wiping out my tbr was just so satisfying

would i be able to count The Considine Curse towards the challenge? i can't find an official word count anywhere [it's definitely long enough, its just not on arbookfind or audible to verify] but its tagged as YA as well as MG so idk if that is enough to make it count.
