i mean i definitely ship cal and robin in a weird way so yeah i think cal is a bit bicurous lol. but seriously ...the only reason you need to bring up how straight you are all the time is BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT THAT STRAIGHT ;)
@Cathy the next one is kind of a detour from the whole grimm plot, but we get niko pov again! then book nine is the continuation of the grimm thing and yeah he definitely gets more auphe in it and i'm like yesssss [rubs hands together gleefully] lol@Claudia usually i am not much for very small children but child!Cal absolutely kills me because he's such a little asshole lol there's more of younger cal in the next book but i think he's like 11 at that point? still 'adorable' though ;)
and i didn't really connect kalakos with sereglio but that is an interesting parallel. although really i had no idea with her and with kalakos i didn't necessarily think his betrayal was going to be that big but i figured there was SOMETHING up with him.
and i have no idea how george's mind wiping powers work lol. it's never mentioned again before or after so i guess we just have to chalk it up to 'because rob said so that's why'. maybe she was planning on doing something else with it later in the series but it got cancelled before she got there?
woo! that mini-challenge was fun but i'm glad to go back to a regular spell it out for this week. i wonder if there will be another 'surprise' before the challenge is over lol
haha re: the person behind it at all
but yeah so glad that cal is (view spoiler)["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
just wanted to say that i edited in some pages/sentences for the words for the two books that i posted earlier today over in the books read thread
also the 'explanation' about george was not in this book. i'm not sure if it's actually brought up in the next one or if you guys were just supposed to get it in this book because of context clues but i'll put the explanation under the cut so you can decide if you want to click(view spoiler)

G: Marcus Garcia [character]
23 standard word options: blood, bone, cabin, chills, creepy, dark, death, devil, fright, hide, invoke, knife, monster, night, nightmare, poison, scream, shadows, spider, supernatural, terror, witch, woods
chills, page 211
The woman’s cries from the other side of the door in the underground hallway John and the two Hunters had escorted me through tonight gave me chills just thinking about, just imagining the young woman’s terror and possible future
fright, page 50
I held a fondness for Elaine and Sarah; the two who accepted my bark with awe rather than fright at a time when even I feared my inner huldra.
i found four books on my tbr with U title or series name, although two of them are kindle freebies so i'm unsure whether i will read those past the first few chapters lol but at least we've got a few options. i was trying to think of U characters and all i could come up with was umbridge from harry potter, and although it would be good for the points and it is my favorite from the series, i don't think i can JUST read the fifth book by itself lol, my low level OCD would not allow it ;)
i think after i finish my two current books i am going to move onto books for next week, unless we need another option for one of the tricky words or another i or something [although both of my current ones work for i].
juuuust wanted to say that i am still around but i literally cannot comment on that topic because me explaining would be spoilers -_-;i think i got through chapter 11 today ...somewhere around there. gotta say one of my favorite promise moments in the series is when (view spoiler)

Wilder Girls by Rory Power
date started: 7/9/19
date finished: 7/10/19
pages: 368
genre: Yes
B: Byatt [character]
E: Emmy [character]
19 standard word options: blood, bone, cat, chill, conjure, dark, death, gravestone, hide, horror, jaws, knife, night, nightmare, poison, scream, shadows, terror, woods
these will probably be more along the lines of how the words are 'supposed' to appear in the book since it fits betters genre-wise. again if you could just let me know which ones you want page numbers / sentences for then i can look when i get home
U's are tricky but at least there's no repeating letters, that should help some. don't think i will be much help with shifters as i usually avoid books with werewolf main characters like the plague because i can't deal with all the ~alpha male~ crap lol
ok that's fine. is it because they are like a name of a group and then someone's name? because i thought that as long as it was in the book it was fair to use.
