I've been working on it for over a year!

I'm a sucker for needles and embroidery floss...
My main problem is that I am a serial 'book starter.' I have the best of intentions, but then I flit from book to book with whatever takes my fancy at that particular moment in time. I am a sucker for the Stephanie Plum series, anything vampire or a cozy mystery. I must have over 40 books in various stages of completion right now! Maybe there's a 12-step program somewhere for me?At least this is a 3-day weekend for me. President's Day holiday on Mon. I hope to finish at least 3 books... One of which should count for this challenge. Have fun, everybody. Good night!

My review is here"
It sounds fabulous, Karen! I really want to read all her books now. I just picked up a random book that was on the Valentine display at the library called
I just couldn't resist.

Thank you! Now I can sleep peacefully. Ha! Who am I kidding? I'm watching The Walking Dead marathon leading up to the return of the series on Sunday nite -- the perfect Valentine's Day gift. Any other fans out there?
I find that I lack self-direction/initiative. I'm pretty sure you've noticed it already. Someone please tell me what to read next! I need professional help! ;)

Trust me. They still make it! Had some for breakfast this morning (with crunch berries) It was delicious!
I finished my mystery!
It was pretty cute. I love finding a new series. I entered it onto the spreadsheet, but my entry looks different. Karen, could you please check for me? Let me know if I did something wrong...
Thanks so much!

I have certain types of books I won't read just before bedtime because they give me weird dreams. No murder, vampires or crime... Just sayin'.

I keep forgetting the seasons are reversed down there! We have cousins in Queensland. Everything they come to Hawaii, they stock up on peanut butter, cereal , electronics and guitars.... I've always wanted to visit, but I hear you can't get Captain Crunch there.
Laila Jane wrote: "Sorry I'm so behind, starting my mystery today."Don't feel bad, Laila Jane. I think I'm lagging behind, too. If only I could stay home all day and read... Sigh*
Drishti wrote: "I'm going to take a reading break for a few days because I really need to start studying for my exams. But, I'll be checking goodreads at least once a day."Poor thing! Good luck with the studying and your exams!

Beautiful work, Karen. Love it all, especially the mirrors! Do you have to cut each individual piece by hand? Whenever do you find time to read anything?
What can I say? I like cats! I'm in the middle of Big Kitty by Claire Donally. I liked the title and the cover with a giant grey striped kitty on it. His name is Shadow and he follows a lady home. I was hooked from the start!I wish I could just stay home and read all day. This work thing just gets in the way.
I got Bones Under the Beach Hut - Simon Brett, Bookmarked for Death by Lorna Barrett, Death of a Glutton by MC Beaton and Nine Lives to Die by Rita Mae Brown. So I think I've covered Vacation/Tropical, Books/Bookstores, Scotland & Animals/ Cats. I have some others ordered and more just lying around... Have I mentioned my OCD?
You guys are so speedy! I got sidetracked by the library again today :) and picked up a new batch of books to help with this and other challenges. A whole slew of cozy mysteries, too. I'm about 100 pages into my mystery right now. I am loving Queen of the Tearling, but not Red Rising. It's so tempting to go racing off in a lot of other directions. I must surely be the poster child for adult ADD...Having lots of fun, though!
