**Life Beyond Books**1: Beyond Books, what are your hobbies / interests?
Music, movies, games & puzzles, cooking & trying new recipes, going to the beach... I would love to travel the world.
2: What is your favorite fun thing to do, other than read?
Watch a movie on the big screen, but I rarely go to the movies since I discovered Netflix.
3: If you aren't reading, or surfing GoodReads, what would you be doing?
Watching a movie ideally -- but more likely doing laundry!
4: What do you enjoy doing, besides reading, that you don't get to do often enough?
I love the beach, but even in summer we only make it once or twice a week.
5: What things in your life (work, family, ect...) keep you from enjoying your hobbies?
Well, yeah, that work thing is a total bummer! HA! If I had the money I'd take off on a world cruise tomorrow.
Quick! Anybody who has the time, that is. I need a book recommendation -- anything you love under 350 pages, please.Really appreciate it!
1. What are you favorite challenges? I'm still rather new to challenges in general, so it's hard to say. I will say this: the ATW challenge was the first group challenge I joined and my group, Wandering Bibliophiles, is awesome! Everyone was so friendly and helpful right from the start.
2. What challenges would you like to see more / less of?
Still too new to tell. I just need to restrain myself from doing too many at one time.
3.What would make challenges more fun for you?
I am really enjoying this one! I like the idea of the daily questions and getting to know other members a little bit better. As avid readers, I think we tend to isolate ourselves. GR gives us an opportunity to relate to one another and discuss our passion.

Not yet,but I'm sure I will someday!!
Feel better soon, Karen. At least you can still read! I had a strained ulnar nerve some years back. My doctor wanted complete rest for that hand for one week. My husband followed me around watching me so I wouldn't do laundry or write. He even cut up my food for me! Touching, but at the same time very annoying!
I finished An Ember in the Ashes
today. So that's my rebellion book. Could someone add it to the spreadsheet for me, please?
So... What letters do we still need for Salalah? I'm sure I'll have one, or be able to pick it up tomorrow at the library!
The dentist today was brutal -- I had two fillings and I just hate Novocain! The one good thing about my dentist is that his office is in the Liliha Bakery building. They make these awesome things called coco puffs. They're like cream puffs, but are filled with a milk chocolate pudding and topped with chantilly. Yum-o!
Tomorrow should more than help make up for the bad Saturday --library and a pedicure. :)

Hi Melissa! I'm Lauri from Hawaii. Couldn't help but notice you said you love all things Disney... Me too! I was almost going to put it in my intro, but some people think it's selly. I can talk Disney forever! We speak in movie quotes at work and home. I'm jonesing for a visit - we haven't been to Disneyland since 2012. Hopefully we'll make it out this year. We've never been to Disneyworld. It's one of my dreams....

Good morning, all! I am about to finish An Ember in the Ashes
today! Yaaayyy!Have just started Notorious Nineteen
for favorite author's book (red cover, too!) I hope to read The Last Storyteller: A Novel of Ireland, Gone Girl, Bones Under the Beach Hut, Muffin But Murder, and Water for Elephants for this and various other challenges. I may have bitten off more than I can chew, but I'm really enjoying myself!!
Aloha, ladies! How's everyone doing?,it's still cold & rainy here. I'm all cozy at the moment watching 'Alice in Wonderland' on cable. Somehow I've missed it up till now... I've discovered this peppermint syrup to add to hot chocolate that is simply delicious. The only low spot on my horizon is a dentist appointment tomorrow. :(
I should finish up An Ember in the Ashes by tomorrow. That will be my rebellion book!
