Ahh remember when goodreads would tell you your most read author 😩"
I really, really miss that feature! I used to look at my authors all the time! I'm a huge Charlaine Harris & Janet Evanovich fan! Also Ng with all those cozy mysteries... I call them brain candy...

Well, Tina, I am very eclectic! I'll read just about anything & am very much a mood reader & a serial book starter! I'll give a book 100 pages& if I'm not into it, I'll stop. That's not to say I won't revisit later... So my 5-star reads are stories that resonated with me for some reason, were amazing stories or had some sort of magic for me...
I LOVE all the Stephanie Plum mysteries, Sookie Stackhouse books and I'm a sucker for mysteries with bad puns in the title... One person's 5-star is another person's trash. No 2 people ever read the same book. I give most books 3-4 stars, rarely 2 or 1 because I gave up on them!

The Red Tent, Spring Moon: A Novel of China, Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, Bitter in the Mouth, Eva Luna, The Mammoth Hunters, River God, The 19th Wife, The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, Mambo Peligroso: A Novel, The Last Kingdom, In the Shadow of the Banyan, A Thousand Splendid Suns, Red Sister, The Poppy War, Purple Hibiscus & Blood of the Earth

I'm just coming off 2 group challenges -- 1 was longish & 1 was 8 weeks. I'm kinda enjoying not doing specific reading for a little while. I almost enjoy the planning stage more than the actual reading, if that makes sense.

The target reopening date is June 15, but I don't think that's going to happen...
How are things where you live?

The White Tiger by Aravind Adiga- fits letter A for author name, is tagged Tiger & works for task #76: set in India (321 pages)
The Lost City of the Monkey God: A True Story by Douglas Preston - fits letter D for author's first name, is tagged Indigenous & works for task #185: set in Central America (328 pages)
BOM book Five Feet Apart by Rachael Lippincott - fits letter R for author's first name & works for either task #48 Contemporary or #56 Romance. I'll participate in the discussion (288 pages)

Could one of our lovely captains please add these to our planning spreadsheet for me?Thank you!

Thanks, Cathy! I can view spreadsheets, but can never use them, i do everything on an iPad mini. I just learned how to cut & paste with it last month...

I love reading, but I like real books! I dislike reading on a tablet & depend on the public library for everything. Unfortunately our libraries remain closed, so the Wheelathon may be a bit tricky for me! I've done several Wheels, but I still cannot manage a link or a spreadsheet to save my life.
My shelf is: nbrc-wheel-2020
I can't wait to get started!

I'm actually in the middle of All Systems Red right now. Too funny. I think I'll continue on with the series. I'm in Hawaii and our public libraries are still closed. I hope I'll be able to give Wheel my best shot in spite of that. The main thing I've learned from all this is I hate reading on my tablet!!
