@Karolyn - in your posts in our (Capitol) thread, or on your spreadsheet, you might want to specify which One By One each read is going to be. I don't know if we can substitute later with a same title/different book, but I do know that any books not selected before the Battle starts don't count. I would hate for any kind of technicality to mess us up.

Hey Team!

We really need to start planning quickly here. We only have a week to plan this. Any books not selected prior to the end of that week won't count for the battle. Last round we only posted our final book choice a few hours before the end. And we had an extra day more than this time.

I'm going to send them One by One, the Ruth Ware one. Preeti, we'll put you down for this one. I think Melanie was offering to read the Freida McFadden one, so we can switch that one to her. but if I'm wrong we'll just have you read both, or switch one to anyone else who volunteers.

Next up I'll send them One Plus One again and I'll plan on listening to it if no one else wants to take that one.

Unless I hear from anyone else who wants to read. The books I and Truit have listed above are probably not the only options, so if you've got something else, please let us know!

In keeping with the established theme, for the second shot of the Battle the Capitol will be reading One by One.

I'm not sure how many rounds we can keep it up. I'm still waiting for more of my team to respond. I don't think they were ready for the Battle prep to start yet.

I'm going to let them know One By One and we can figure out the reader later.

Yes we can! I forgot to hit post and walked away after typing up my previous post. They have 5 people ready to read. They may even do a Buddy read if anyone wants to join.

If you want to read it, I can let them know right away.

FYI, they have 5 readers ready/willing to read One By One. I think most of them are going for the Freida McFadden book as it's a mystery and available in Kindle Unlimited.

One Plus One

Any others that start/end with ONE? And we can have multiple people read the same book. I'm willing to read the one in KU and I think I have the audio for One Plus One so I'm willing to re-listen.

Battle Announcement from the Capitol

We like your plan, but we're going to mix it up just. a little bit and start with One Plus One.

I'm going to send One Plus One over to them, knowing we'll get a One ending back.

Preeti, please let me know which one of your One By One books you prefer. Once I post a book to them, that's what we're reading, so we need to know which one you want.

@everyone, please post your books that start with ONE and end with ONE. That way we can move through a few rounds quickly without waiting for people to comment each time.

Preeti, you have 2 One By Ones on your list. Which would you prefer to read! I’ll give it another 2 hours and then pick a book to send them. Hopefully we hear from more people by then.

I’m hoping to hear from Lexie, Kamaria and Kari today. They were the three who didn’t get to read in the first battle.
