It happens to all of us at some point. I do apologize for not posting a reminder yesterday. It's The Wishing Game that ends on 7/16.

With mainstream publishers, as opposed to indie authors, you will find that they will occasionally put a book in KU, but not for very long. It's the exclusivity of sale that makes it temporary. And if the Amazon bots find it on a piracy site while it's in KU it can get the author banned.

I get Lauras often in books. And in a spicy romance it is interesting.

I'll let district 2 know we've got our next book selected.

Just to let you guys know, I edited my post with our second book. Our reader would prefer the Ruth Ware One By One rather than the Freida McFadden one. :)

I personally wouldn't mind re-reading The One. My library has the trilogy on audio, so it'll be quick.

Regarding the Battle round.

I realize there has been a lot of chatter in the thread, so I wanted to recap. District 2 and we (us?) are trying to volley One books back and forth. That's why we have the list of suggested One books so far. (I'll post it again in this post.). It's just a little way to have fun with it. I think they are planning to do a buddy read as most of them will be reading the Freida McFadden One By One.

Carrie, your The One works for this idea, so I'll send that over to them. I think it's our turn right now.

And when I searched for One By One, the Helen one was way down the list. I didn't see it until I used both first and last name!

Guys, I made a mistake in my post above. There is a third One By One that doesn't show up until far down the search. That is the one we will be reading for my post above. And I think it's our turn now, but my team is moving slowly this weekend. I think a bunch of them didn't realize the battle planning started now. I'll post our pick in bit, when I know who will be reading what.
