35559 Just realised that The Thief has "tortoise" in text while my audiobook works for Mythology, so updated the ss..:)

Thank you, Sammy. 😊
Actually Hollow Crown will be my next book by him, but unfortunately the audiobook isn't available for me in Hungary, so I need to make do with the e-book edition this time.

35559 I'll reserve judgement until I get to read a 3rd book by him, but I may have found a new favourite author for the History genre. :)

35559 And I'm upping my goal again with 5 books from 45 to 50. 😊

I loved it so much that I actually bought the audiobook and switched listening to it.

Here is my review

35559 After I finished my current 3 books, I can do Tortoise in text, but will leave it empty in case someone stumbles upon one unexpectedly. 😊
Sep 19, 2024 08:11AM

35559 I think you should. ,)

35559 No tortoise seems to live inside the Wimpy Kid pages. :(

I have found 2 books on my TBR shelf that would work, but first I need to read the other 3 I've put on the ss. If only my workplace wouldn't expect me to work ... 😅
Sep 19, 2024 05:23AM

35559 No, don't follow my bad example, please. 😅

Just make sure you are following this thread as it'll be announced here when the time comes.

35559 Domi's reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid, it works for the 200-299 page range. :) I'll check tomorrow if a stray tortoise has hidden among the pages or not. :)

35559 ♡ Thank you, Cat.

Not directly, no, as we are living outside Budapest (our small lake is no threat). My workplace is close to the Danube, but so far it doesn't seem to be under threat.

The peak is expected tomorrow, buy we don't have it as bad as Austria & Czechia. (fingers crossed it won't get any worse)

35559 Yes, I stumbled upon it on the Audible sale and it was too good a deal for me to miss (or at least I remember that was what I told myself at the time. ;).

35559 I think after Henry V, my next listen will be A Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, which could work for page count &animal on cover.
