Just realised that The Thief has "tortoise" in text while my audiobook works for Mythology, so updated the ss..:)

Actually Hollow Crown will be my next book by him, but unfortunately the audiobook isn't available for me in Hungary, so I need to make do with the e-book edition this time.

I'll reserve judgement until I get to read a 3rd book by him, but I may have found a new favourite author for the History genre. :)

And I'm upping my goal again with 5 books from 45 to 50. 😊

I have found 2 books on my TBR shelf that would work, but first I need to read the other 3 I've put on the ss. If only my workplace wouldn't expect me to work ... 😅

Not directly, no, as we are living outside Budapest (our small lake is no threat). My workplace is close to the Danube, but so far it doesn't seem to be under threat.

The peak is expected tomorrow, buy we don't have it as bad as Austria & Czechia. (fingers crossed it won't get any worse)

5 stars - a fascinating and depressing read at the same time

Yes, I stumbled upon it on the Audible sale and it was too good a deal for me to miss (or at least I remember that was what I told myself at the time. ;).

I think after Henry V, my next listen will be A Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, which could work for page count &animal on cover.
