35559 I found that the Britney Spears book actually fitted the rest of tasks for The Lavish Family (moved Domi's book elsewhere), so they have been packed away.

35559 R*E*S*P*E*C*T Sophie. While I love classics in general, I have never ventured near that list. :)

On the other hand, I'm planning to read Little Dorrit for Wheel 9 depending on the words we'll be getting. :)

You can participate in the discussion, but our team won't get points for it unfortunately.
We need to start books after 12 Oct 9pm UK time to count for points in general and also read the BOM books during the set discussion period to get those extra points in particular.

You can always deliver your overdue bills to Team DIY in person. 🤭

Welcome to the Team, Elisabeth.

Yes, formulas with author profile number & name are tricky.

Karen has found your user profile (3226935-elisabeth-rose) and she already linked it on our spreadsheet, it just wasn't updated in the thread yet.

Please save this number/name and use them for future challenges where this info is requested.

Thoughts on placement?"

I'm absolutely good with that. :)

35559 HI Kat, welcome to the Team. 😊

Hope your connection/electricity issues are sorted out soon.

35559 Thanks for sharing, Richard.

Actually, it reminded me that I have read the Matrix philosophy book from that series, but as it was way before I joined GR, I have forgotten to add it o my read-shelf. 😊

35559 I'm sorry to say I'm a no-hoper when it comes to DIY, painting, drawing and all those skills, though recently my colleagues and I did manage to re-paint the fence of a kindergarten as part of a charity project we are doing every year. :))

35559 Here I am with my proper intro this time: :)

I am Melinda (Mel for short) and live in Hungary, in a small laketown with my husband and my 10-year-old son (who registered to GR in the Spring and I am getting him addicted to reading challenges in small doses. He got adopted by/into the awesome Monster-Hunter team I am part of. 🥰) .

I work for one of the EU Agencies and commute on a train 3 days a week (precious reading/listening time) and work from home 2 days. I am CET (Central European Time, UTC+2).

I love reading and reading challenges. Books in any format are my joy, though in the last couple of years 2/3 of my reading have been on audio.

My favourite genres are the classics, history, biographies, fantasy and golden age detective fiction.
I read almost anything if I am in the mood for it and if the team needs it, but horror/thrillers are a No-Go.

35559 Richard,

what kind of non-fiction books do you like reading?

My non-fiction reading is around 35% of my whole activity. Mostly I like to read (listen to) History and Music books and biographies.

35559 Hi Lisa!

While we have been reading alongside each other for quite a while, I think this is the first time we are on a team together.
Japan sounds fabulous. :)
