35559 Thank you, Kat. :)

I'm not overfamiliar with the more modern mysteries genre that could fit white-collar crime, but I'm sure that other Teamies can help us out on this matter. :)

I can't use Maybe You Should Talk to Someone for it?"

If it's non-fic, then unfortunately not.

AH-HHA!!!

And now that you've been found out, could you tell us what driving an electric vehicle has to do with relaxation? 🤭

I can do that one. Yes, know...in fiction."

🤭 Awesome! 🥰

35559 Seems that the "character who drives an electric vehicle" may turn out to be the trickiest of tasks.

35559 I'm finishing a shorter book in a day or 2 for the puzzle tag and then switch onto doorstoppers-only. :D

35559 And I've already slotted Richard's Masters of Mystery: The Strange Friendship of Arthur Conan Doyle and Harry Houdini in the "sky on cover" task. :))

35559 Seconding what Richard says. :)

35559 So I'd say rice + vinegar.

Sure, I can do that. I'll do it for the team."

Awwww 🥰

Actually Wolf Hall may not be a bad choice as while it's fiction, Mantel's narration style helps you distance yourself from characters and it gives you the feeling of peeping over their shoulders and it has a kind of narrative non-fic feel to it.

But I'm not going to push it or any other fiction book on you.

We totally appreciate your taking-one-for-the-team. 😊

35559 No worries. 😊

35559 Richard,

I'm sorry, but unless it's fiction, we cannot use it for characters. 😪
Nov 25, 2024 12:01AM

35559 And I have switched my Wolf Hall book for the taxes task.

Will post an update on where we are with mini tasks in a mo'. :)

@Kat: I moved your "At first light" book to the E-spot in the first word.

35559 @Kat & dinosaurs: yes the individual letters must be there across title + series counts as well. If a book has a subtitle and is recorded here on GR that also counts.

35559 @ Re: Cromwell - I can confirm that tax collecting is part of the plot in Wolf Hall and Cromwell is definitely in charge.

35559 Feel free to switch it, Elisabeth. We will be on the lookout for another page numbering book. :)
