So funny! The interview with Santa's lawyer in particular tested my bladder control! 😆"

35559 #2 The Hollow Crown by Dan Jones by Dan Jones, 4,5 stars

This has been my 3rd book by this author and I've loved all of them so far, so I guess he's becoming a favourite. 😊

35559 In that case, Martin Luther stays. :)

35559 I loved it as a kid and last year I read it to my son, he also liked it. 😊

35559 I guess Martin Luther is as strong a character as it gets, but He'll keep, Sophie/Sammy if someone in your book fits the description. :)

35559 At the start of the year I had 169 books on my TBR shelf including 82 that I have on my special shelf "To-Read-Books-Owned".

I have committed to read 40 books (will see if I can upgrade as I move along or not) and my personal goal would be to read at least 25 books from the ones I already own.

As I was erratic in updating my GR TBR, the date-added stuff is a bit misleading, so I won't really follow that.

35559 Caprice and Rondo fits task 5 featuring a renaissance painter.

35559 Sammy,

I see that The Corrections also fits the page count for the Dragon Queen.

You could move it there and have that one finished off.

I'm only at 35% of Caprice and Rondo. I'm sure it'll fit somewhere else later.

35559 I read 105 audiobooks altogether from the 192 books I read this year. I need to go through my annual reading list to make the final overview, but I have 2 new favourite narrators for sure: John Banks for the House of Niccolò series by Dorothy Dunnett and Jonathan Cecil for Wodehouse's Uncle Fred books. 🥰
