This is a nice spin! And its our 100 point bonus word right? Why oh why are we cursed with grey in the title every single time?
That whole series is great for any colour covers we would need. I'm admiring the purple right now. I've only read the first one though, and next up is blue, which would not be as helpful as we have multiple blues already.
The Genre Minx wrote: "If you go through the thread you'll see I claimed it today."Figured as much. I did remember you mentioning that, and I couldn't remember jingles posting anything about that.
On the spreadsheet it say jingles is reading Third Grave Dead Ahead. Is that a typo? Should it say Minx?
So we're almost done this word. What does everyone think?New word, or re-spin the same word?
New word: 3
Re-spin: 0
I really hope the next time we spin for a new word we get "red in title" because I'm actually reading a book that works for that also.
We have several books in our bank with brown and blue covers so I chose one of the brown ones that doesn't work for any of the hard vowels (E,I,O,U) and stuck it in the spreadsheet for N. So now all we have left to fill in is H.I am halfway through reading a book that has dozens of characters, including an H, but its a long one and I can't say when I'll be finished. So I can tentatively take that spot, but if someone pops in with an H book that is finished, we can slip that one in. I'm going to use this as motivation to try to read a bunch today.
Sorry Becky I already fixed it. The Unfortunate Hospital was being used for both "white item on cover" and "green colour in text" I just swapped the green bonus to another book already in the spreadsheet.

According to the spreadsheet that one works. I just changed it. Not sure if it was even you in there putting the books in though.
Becky, I'm just double checking the books entered to the spreadsheet and there is one book (line 10) listed for 2 different colour bonuses.

If we do get a Milon boast, we can just save it for the next word unless it happens to work with what we already have. No sense in making it more complicated by trying to shuffle things around.
The Genre Minx wrote: "I love your optimism! You are right. Thank you for being the sound of reason, lol, I am running on e today."
Ha! No one ever calls me optimistic. I've got pessimist written all over me. lol
Hang in there! It's almost the weekend and hopefully things settle down.
I wish one of the milon bonuses let us go back down to one colour. Then we could keep spinning like crazy for our last week.
Minx, that book works!I know the colour in title ones are not easy. But we have less than last spin and with a total of 10 bonuses, it could be worse :p
Becky ♡The Bookworm♡ wrote: "When do we get our next Boast of Milan? Lawd please...no more sci-fi!!!!"I don't know how often we get these. Anything but sci-fi lol.
Shannon wrote: "Would this work for gold? It's all squished together 'cause it's a user name. emmie_potofgold and lonely.lycaon"I would absolutely say it works. Clearly the title is a play on internet speak. Gold refers to the colour, not a person's name or something. Its kind of a compound word, but those have been ruled as working as long as the spirit of the word works.
