Shannon wrote: "OMG, For real, I am NOT spinning anymore!! lol"This is not a bad spin at all! Several are "in the text" or easy colours. Much better than last time.
Vicky, I agree. And we're going into our last week with all those 60% colour covers banked. We need to get the chance to use them.
We only have one book left to finish this word, but I'm assuming when we're finished we want to spin for a new word right? And hopefully get less "colours in the title" tasks? That will put us at 10 bonus tasks to complete though. Egads!
Lol Margaret. I know how you feel. I'm on the way to work and I have about 30 pages left in the book I'm reading. So hard to put down when the end is so close.
I know what you mean. I still read lots of paper books but it feels like such a chore now to have to choose a reading spot based on having enough lighting when youre used to the lighting from ereaders/phones.
So relieved that we have such good team players. You guys are the best.I think I've got all the latest books updated on the spreadsheet and I'm heading out to dinner now. I'll probably be offline most of the evening trying to finish a book that is due back at the library tomorrow.
The Genre Minx wrote: "I am down with that!"Phew. I don't like bumping books. Don't want to step on any toes. Its so much easier when Vicky is in charge of everything and makes the decisions. :p
Ok, if you guys don't mind, I think I like that purple shirt better for an item. Minx if you read your book, that purple text on the cover should come in handy for the future.
What do you guys think?
The Genre Minx wrote: "I had one listed above for O with purple, just need a ruling for purple item. :)"I don't know about that. To me it doesn't seem like an "item". Shannon, what do you think?

"You can read anything you want. Books will work for multiple letter and colour options, so as long as you give us a list of info when you finish a book we'll make it work. If not on the current word, it should work for the next one most likely. Wheel-a-thon is nice in that everyone can read whatever books they want without worrying too much about picking up a book specifically for the challenge. So go ahead and read anything and just give us the info when you're done.
So I've been avoiding Netgalley for over a month because my feedback ratio is so low (31% right now) but I just went on today and before I knew it I had requested 3 new books.. Now I have that weird feeling of wanting to get approved for them, but also wanting them to decline so my ratio doesn't go down any more. LOL
I can't think why clothing wouldn't count as an item. It's definitely a "thing".Middle names don't count
Shannon wrote: "So doesn't the final book have to have an "O", something purple on the cover and be a Sci-fi? Good God, I'll look but...."O + Purple only. Sci-fi we're good on. We only needed 4 books for this boast :)
Right now we have two open spots on our word that haven't been claimed. They are both for the letter "O". So they would need to have title, author, narrator or character starting with an O. They also need to fit our colour bonuses. We need one book that has a white item on the cover and one book that has a purple item on the cover.
So, to reiterate we need
O - white item on cover
O - purple item on cover

Just wondering so I can decide on the next book I'm gonna read"
Can you give us some info for the book? Author, audio narrator, characters, and color info (colour of items on the cover, colour of the text on the cover) etc. Thanks. Otherwise we won't know where to use it.
