I think its relatively easy. 4 vowels, no x, q, or z. And its short. Its the colour bonuses that may prove more challenging on this one.
The Genre Minx wrote: "When do the bonuses phase out? Do they phase out? Do some words count more than others?"Do you mean the colour bonuses? We will lose one every saturday. Every time we spin for a new word, we gain one. Right now we're up to 6 so if we spin for a different word, we'll get 7.
Each letter in the word counts for 10 points, but every time you complete the word, you get a 15 point bonus. So if your word is 10 letters long, you'll get a 15 point bonus every ten letters, but if the word is 20 letters long, it'll take longer to get that bonus each word, so its good to have a shorter word, if the letters and colours aren't too hard.
Wow, love seeing all the team coordination when it comes to matching letters with colour bonuses and then trying to complete the boast as well.Looks like you guys have been busy and I'm sorry I haven't been around as much this weekend. I have had an absolutely hellish long weekend at work and am so ready to be off tomorrow and do some reading and relaxing.
Looks like we have everything covered for the current word, so I'm going to keep on reading what I already have going and see when I can jump in.

The Gunslinger has main page genre of science fiction, so if we don't think we're gonna do the boast this word, we may want to save it for the next one. It's not like R and S are difficult letters to find anyway.Edit: Aaah, didn't realize there were more comments on a new page, lol. I see you've already noticed this and made the decision. Good. I won't rush it then.
I have about 2 hours left on my audiobook: The Gunslinger by Stephen King. MC: Roland. I will finish tonight after work so can be used for S or R
Hang in there Vicky! I'm working all during this long weekend as well, so I can sympathize with you. Sometimes thinking about my book gets me through the end a shift too.

We need everything! Read anything you want basically.
You know, by looking for that book on my various websites, I saw that the Kobo deal of the day is
which I really want to read, so I was able to buy it for only $4.99. Score! Anyone else interested in this one, you may find it cheap on amazon also. They often have deals on the same books.

Thanks for your reply about this author. I have been known to make exceptions in the past in regards to this, and it sounds like this author is worthy of a second look for me. The book does sound really good.
That book looks pretty good. Maybe someone else should read it also and we can bank it for "silver" in title. lolI added it to my TBR because it looked good, but then I realized its a kindle unlimited book. I normally won't pay money for those books. I choose not to financially support authors who take part in that program because Amazon doesn't allow those books to be sold on anything other than Kindle. As a person who only has the kindle app on my phone, and a competitor's ereader, I don't like that kind of proprietary stuff. Books should be able to be sold for all reading devices, and authors should have the option of putting their books on Scribd, or Overdrive if they want. I do what I can to show Amazon that I don't think this is ok and I don't like their business model.
Just my opinion, lol
Wow you guys have been busy! Go team go!Looks like you guys are going to be quickly reading books to knock out our tasks and I don't want to hold anything up by putting a claim in for any of them, so I'm just going to continue reading for the bank and hoping my books will be useful somewhere.
Im heading out for the evening for a dinner but I should be on later. Minx, we're looking into your book so if Becky is online she'll let you know when we hear back.
Sweet word! Also "cover found in text" is basically a freebie so its only the other two we need to worry about. For purple item on cover, we only have one book, but for orange text we have 4 options. So we may need a cover with something purple on it if we want to read this one a few times (which we probably should, since I don't think we want any more colour bonuses just yet)
