35559 I'll take that Red Pandas spot from you Shannon since I think Hammer Head The Making of a Carpenter by Nina MacLaughlin works.

Red Pandas live in tree and a carpenter works with wood.

35559 Banked books don't count. What we mean with claiming two books at a time, is that when looking at the 15 remaining squares that need to be read for (for example) each person claims no more than 2 of those squares to read for right now. This way everyone on the team gets a chance if they want and all 15 squares don't get divided between 3 people each claiming 5 books.

Once you have finished one of your two claimed books, you can choose another square to read for. We just want everyone to have a chance at reading for a square if they like.

If you happen to be reading 3 books and all three of them work for squares, thats fine too. Just claim the two that you think are the hardest to find, and once you finish one of those, you can claim the third if its still available, or the book can be banked for the next time if someone else took that square already.

I've been googling Tapirs, Harpy Eagles, Red Pandas to see if I can find a connection too.

I agree. I just finished it actually but we haven't used it yet. It certainly doesn't live up to the books themselves in my mind, but it was nice to visit that world again.

35559 I wonder if we could use Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling for the harpy eagles square, since there are wings and a nest on the cover and an eagle is a bird. What do you all think?

35559 Probably best to try to use as much banked stuff as possible. We don't know if we will be able to use them later, so best to put them in if we can. Plus the plot details will be fresher now than later.

I read that clue as meaning a title that contains the word "is". Are you seeing it as something different?

It would count as long as it's on the main page as "mystery" or "historical-mystery" etc. For this card though, that spot was already submitted using a different book. You can see here what is left to fill in: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...

If it doesn't fit any open spots we'll just put it in the bank. Once we finish this card and get a bunch of new options we'll ask everyone to take another look at their finished unused books and see if they fit any of the new spots.
