EDIT: nevermind, you read a different edition. Let me look again
EDIT #2: yep, can't find anywhere it would fit :( Oh well

My brain was so fried last night that I was just putting things in without really thinking about them.
If Undersold works for that task (the main character is the one helping to throw the party) it can stay there. Minx found another spot for her book so that one is available. If it doesn't work though, we'll have to find somewhere else for it of course.
Oooh, just read this posting from a mod:Please Note
We've made the following update. But don't think we're going easy on you.
It's up to you to manage how many open bonuses you have and not request more than allowed.
Bonus Scaling
For teams with between 0 - 3 total Main Labor completions, they will be allowed to have 2 Bonuses open.
For teams with between 4 - 7 total Main Labor completions, they will be allowed to have 3 Bonuses open.
For teams with between 8 - 10 total Main Labor completions, they will be allowed to have 4 Bonuses open.
For teams with between 11 - 12 total Main Labor completions, they will be allowed to have 5 Bonuses open.
This is exciting. I was thinking we always had only 2 bonuses open. This will open up soooo many options once we get a bunch of main tasks done. Especially since each bonus has multiple tasks.
I'm going to slot Magic Slays into 11-2: Strong Female Lead because no one would say that Kate Daniels is not a strong female lead. I know its an easy spot but I'm hoping that once I start it, I'll find a harder spot it works for. Ok I am for real off to bed now.
I think I need someone to physically drag me away from my computer. Didn't I say I was going to go read?Let me just see if I can claim one more book...
Shannon wrote: "PS. Did we submit our last bingo card? Just wondering 'cause it's still just sitting there."Don't think we need to/can submit. We didn't make any of the patterns. Every time we submitted a book for a square we got points though. We don't have to finish the card. I checked as I updated to make sure. I submitted all our finished books this morning.

The only book I can recall with topiaries in it is The Shining, but that may just be because they were so creepy in that one. You never know, they may pop up in a book someone happens to read for another task.
The Genre Minx wrote: "Hey Joanne, Seriously put my book into a spot it fits. I rely do not care about my books being moved around. I just want to hit all the tasks and get past the first 6 labors and start racking up the points!! SO this is for everyone, feel free to move any books I have read if it is strategically a better option. My feelings won't be hurt, i want to win!! lol"
To be honest I posted about your book because I was hoping you might have another spot in mind we could move it to. I was just feeling lazy and didn't even look at all myself. LOL
I'm trying to find a spot for my other book
and it fits for a few easy spots, but a lot of tasks I won't know until I've started reading I guess.

It sounds like it might work...
Amy, we need to slot in Dead Girls at Hysteria Hall, if you could please find a spot that book would work for.And Becky, we need to find a spot for The Search
Ok I *think I got everyone's books in a spot. Please, everyone who has claimed a book check to make sure its listed and if you're planning what book to read or are in the middle of something, please find a spot for it ASAP. We want to use all books if possible.

Any chance this book works for any other options? Bonita already posted a book for this task.
Bonita, would Undersold work for any other options?
I'm going to list both books on the side of the spreadsheet so I don't forget but hopefully we can move one of these to another spot.

I like it.
If you all wouldn't mind, when you claim a task, could you please list in numerical form which one it is? For example is its in "Labour 3: Visit Pemberley - Read a book where the series and title combined contain all letters in Pemberley", you could refer to is as 3-4 or L3T4 or something just to help us go through them a bit quicker. Also please give us a little sentence of how it works. Thanks.
The Genre Minx wrote: "oh, i see. Thanks! What should I do with my third book? claim a spot in the labour 3/4?"
There was a bit of confusion before, so I just want to clarify: we can read from all 12 labours immediately. We don't have to go 2 at a time. Just in case this is what you meant by claiming a spot in labour 3/4.
I have to admit I'm a little overwhelmed at how to even begin planning this, with everyone's books working for multiple options.
Oooh yeah I'm pretty sure those are just examples. My impression is that our bonus tasks will show up in our spreadsheet, randomly generated, 2 at a time. Then once we finish one, we'll get a replacement one.
