I say if you need to read it, read it. If you feel that it was inspirational when you've read a good part of it, then it should fit. Many of the tasks are based on the reader's opinion, for example: a book with a strong female character, or someone is mentally unbalanced. I feel like this is similar. If you or someone else decides later that it doesn't work, we can hold on to it and hope it fits in a bonus later.

just wondering so I know what to pick for my next book"

If you look at the planning tab on the spreadsheet you'll see there are currently 19 spots left to be claimed. The rest of us are trying to wait until everyone has picked their two to give them the most options to read from, so once you pick your second book we can fill in the rest of the spots. If you can make one of the books you're currently reading fit in an open spot that's even better.

I don't know if we have to take "inspirational" as a genre, the way we would "mystery". Wouldn't any book that inspires the reader work? Like a self-help that made you want to improve yourself, or I think religious romance books are usually referred to as "inspirational romances". Not sure though. I've been averting my eyes every time I see that task.

35559 Amy, I'm going to put The Dead Girls of Hysteria Hall in spot 12-1 for a book that is 300-400 pages.

You need to claim one more book still though.

Amy, you have to check the LB Planning tab in the worksheet. These three spots are already claimed by other books.

I agree. I can figure out my phone no problem, but once I have to connect it to my computer or whatever, I'm so lost.

35559 Never had an apple computer. I've had an iphone for my last two phones, but I'm thinking of switching it up next time (which will be in a year). I can't for the life of me figure out how to use itunes or icloud and it makes me hate apple products sometimes. I swear, I'm not even that old!

35559 Oh thats great news. I was pretty sure I remembered that we could start them, we just couldnt finish them. Knowing that, we can keep an eye out for a bonus where Bonita's book Underworld will fit, and apply it when her two main books are submitted.

35559 The Genre Minx wrote: "Do you guys want me to start a bonus? I have read my 2 main labor books, or do you want me to continue working on the labors? Thanks"

That's a good question that I'm not sure how to answer. No books have been submitted to the official spreadsheet so if you do start reading for a bonus, please don't finish the book until someone gives the go-ahead. My personal feeling is you could go either way, but if you do read for a main task, it would be preferable if you picked one of the "harder" ones, rather than something like "title starts with S" or "book set in England". There will be some debate of course on which tasks are hard and which are easy though.

35559 I think that everyone's claimed and finished books should be in the planning spreadsheet now unless it was stated here that it doesn't fit. If you don't see your book, please speak up because it was probably missed.
