B15-T2 - Read a book where characters can use items to gain magical powers

I feel like maybe the book I just read (Shadow and Bone) might have worked for this because the main character is able to enhance her magical power by using a piece of an animal as an "amplifier". If this works, then I could read the sequel for the category. What do you guys think?

That looks pretty neat and the setting looks gorgeous. I have to admit to feeling very "meh" about the book though.

LOL. And when I saw these options, I groaned. Most of my reading is realistic fiction. Good thing we have diverse readers on the team.

Chloe, take a look at the "LB:Planning" tab on the spreadsheet. That's where you'll always find open tasks.

My book completed our seventh main labour. With one more completed Labour, we can get an additional bonus opened.

We're very VERY close to opening up a fourth bonus, which will make everyone happy and give us a bunch more options of books to read.

Finished my book for L12T2. Woot!

I have books available for all of the options but I'm sure they won't be needed. I'm concentrating on powering through the two books I have claimed. If not today, by tomorrow I will definitely have both finished.

Im not home right now so I can't look but hopefully we have some pink in the bank?

Thanks Cora great job! You're right, someone else read a book with a bow and arrow on the cover so we decided to finish up the category and get a new bonus. As you can see its really hard to keep those bonuses moving. Hopefully we can find a place for all our banked books soon.

I am about 50% done with L12T2 - The Sudden Appearance of Hope.

I am working the next two days and I have this book in a giant hardcover, so I will be focusing on my bonus book Shadow and Bone on my commute, and trying to power through The Sudden Appearance of Hope in the evenings.

Looks like we have a pretty nice set of options going with decent words to build off of. I'm off to bed, but I'm prepared to read any of the options I mentioned if need be. I'll check in the morning to see if any of my books get placed in the queue.

There is actually a book I want to read called More Happy Than Not but I don't read fast enough that I would want to claim two books. Too much pressure.
