35559 The only football team I'd say I hate is Liverpool. And whoever's playing against Man Utd on a particular day of course. LOL. I don't really have a favourite player and I've never changed teams. Believe it or not, I don't follow any local teams (here in Northern Ireland).
I don't get rugby either - it was more popular than football in my old school, but it doesn't make any sense to me.

I'm soooo jealous! I'd love to see them play. Just done the museum & stadium tour though. Hopefully 1 day I'll finally get to see a match too!

I read Gone Girl in 2013. I got Dark Places and Sharp Objects for christmas. I hadn't heard they were going to make Dark Places into a movie too. Still haven't seen the film of Gone Girl, never got a chance to go when it was in the cinema, so going to have to wait for the DVD.

35559 This was one of the books I got as a christmas present. I'm in the very early stages of it, but my initial impression of Libby is that she's self-centered - the very early comment about the other girl who lost her family stealing her thunder. My gut instinct is also telling me she needs to grow up more than she has... although perhaps that's understandable given what happened.
Like I said, I'm still only at the start of the book but that's my first thoughts...
I read Gone Girl in 2013 so it's been a while, but I have been curious about Dark Places & Sharp Objects.

Isn't it ok if I started a book before 8th Nov but finished on/after 8th?

I've added myself onto the spreadsheet & filled out all the details on it

35559 Hi everyone... even though I'm really late joining. I've done a few of these team challenges before and loved them.

Maybe someone can give me a check-list of what needs done. I'm guessing I need to create a shelf... Did I read somewhere I can use an existing shelf? But if so does it matter if books I read before are still on it?
Jan 02, 2015 04:05PM

35559 I know I'm really late :o( but if there's any spots open up I'd like to join in. I loved some of the team challenges I took part in last year!

✔ How many books you have read in 2014? 72
✔ How many books you plan to read 2015? My goal is 60
✔ The continent you live in? Europe
✔ Would you be willing to be a Team Captain? Or Co-Captain? No
✔ Is this your first team challenge with NBRC? No

35559 This year the genre I've read most has been crime/thrillers.
35559 Didn't realise this was one of buddy reads here! Did anyone else read it yet? I just happened to read it this month. Looking forward to hearing comments & opinions about it!

35559 Brilliant result - well done everyone! I've enjoyed being part of this team - and it's certainly got a lot of books on my shelves read!

35559 I'll be finishing The Start of Everything either later tonight or tomorrow. Def before the deadline so no need to worry about getting the genre ticked off.
