35559 Are we still needing Z or Q books most? I’ve just finished my second book & can do a Q next if it’s the best option

I've actually been curious about The Secret Barrister as I used to work as a barrister

I'm missing the Euros this year, I always enjoying watching as many matches as I can, and following the results of those I can't. But like so many things, it is best it's not happening at the moment.

Last year I read Helga's Diary: A Young Girl's Account of Life in a Concentration Camp which I'd recommend.
Totally different but Bought and Sold was also an interesting read

35559 Sorry for your loss Mary. It's never easy losing a loved one. My maternal Gran passed at the end of last February and I still miss her. She was like a second mum to me. But in a way I'm glad she hasn't had to live through this pandemic. Even though she had no health problems, it would still have been worrying as she'd be in her late 90s. Sorting through things is hard. Mum takes notions to sort through Gran's stuff. She was an only child, and I'm the only grandchild. In ways it's easier, but in ways it's harder. You're lucky he didn't pass during lockdown, I can't imagine how hard that must be for any family. Even continuing to grieve through this time must be hard as well, even when someone passed before it.

I'm reading my second tagged book at the moment

35559 I read The Infernal Devices trilogy before starting The Mortal Instruments even though a lot of people seem to suggest the other way. It seemed to be more sensible to me to read chronologically

35559 For the tasks, should we include multiple tasks that the book will fit under or do we just need to include one?

35559 Exciting that we can soon start. First of my planned books is going to be Suicide Forest as it works for a tag.
Still need to finish my current book, but it's not keeping my attention as much as I expected which is disappointing.

I'd hoped I might find them on Kindle store but no luck with that. So I've a real mismatch of paperbacks now lol

Not sure if any of them would work for this challenge but they're quite quick reads so I can read alongside my wheelathon books anyway

There are actually up to 62 titles. A few of the books were split into 2 when they were published in paperback. I'm only missing 3 now. Doesn't mean I've bought near 60 books though, I had a decent starting point from when I was a kid.

35559 Camilla - wow, I'd love to be able to read that many books! I've only managed over 100 one year.
The series is The Chalet School by Elinor M Brent-Dyer. I'd been watching the BBC adaptation of Malory Towers by Enid Blyton, re-read the first book in that series and then got inspired to revisit The Chalet School series.

35559 Don't even mention spending a lot of money on books. I'm totally blaming lockdown but I recently decided to complete a series I had started reading when I was a kid. Only problem the books are out of print, and some of them are quite expensive to buy used. I don't want to work out how many I've bought over the past month or two, but it's a lot.

35559 I honestly couldn't say the last time I was in our town library. I prefer to buy my books. Not good when I constantly run out of space on my shelves though

I love Chris Carter's books! Although maybe not for anyone too squeamish. The Hypnotist is on my to-read list

I'd second it, I read it around the time it was released and loved it. One of those books I couldn't put down
