It's been really warm here today as well. No thunder (or rain) here though. Keep hearing forecasts for thunder but so far I haven't had any thunderstorms.

Back from my few days at the north coast. Finished 1 book which is all updated on the SS.
Was nice to have a change of scene and we mostly got lovely weather, although yesterday was cooler and pretty overcast.

I keep hearing a lot about audio books but I haven't actually listened to one since I was a kid. Have been tempted to try them a few times but have never actually done it.

On my first book for the final week & I'm enjoying it so far - The Chain by Adrian McKinty. Hoping to get plenty of reading done over the next few days when I'm away. Fingers crossed I can actually do what I hope!

Is there anyway we can not update the SS that goes onto the main leaderboard as regularly. Or save a big update to the end? Just so that the other teams don't have an accurate idea of how we're actually getting on.....

Wow, well done everyone! Let's keep it up for the final round.
I'm away Sunday to Thursday (in our motorhome, thankfully, especially as the Coronavirus situation has been getting worse here...) so may not be posting as much. But I'll be reading and will update SS whenever I finish a book

I'm finished for round 4, all updated.

I'm still reading I Heart Hollywood and will get it finished before the deadline for round 4.

It's been pretty windy over here (Northern Ireland) even though it didn't seem to be forecast. Not as bad as earlier in the evening though.

A couple of books that I've been meaning to read in my to-read pile are tagged as crazy so it's a good excuse to actually sit down and read them now.

I've a few tagged books lined up for Round 5 and added to SS. Was starting to lose hope until I looked for the crazy tag.

Sorry for your loss Mary, it's never easy to lose someone you care about. But it seems even worse at the moment with everything going on.

I'd a weekend at the Co Down coast in our motorhome which was nice, although the weather was so unpredictable. Torrential rain on Saturday evening/night for a while.

I've 2 book on the go at the moment and will have them both finished for the deadline

I have a couple of books that will work for I's. Just started one and the other I will start tomorrow.

No problem, the 2 books I've listed for Round 4 so far will be arriving today so I'll start into the first of them and hold off finishing Reflection until we're into Round 4.

What are we like for tags - see we only need 1 more. I can finish my book today, or I can hold off and use it for next week if it's more helpful when we have the same tags

I have another tagged book (for France) so if we need extra tags I'll finish it tonight, and will definitely be able to finish Reflection before the deadline

My reading has been slower this week for some reason... finished a France book & updated on SS.

I avoided my 30th & told my family I didn’t want any cards or gifts saying 30. Overall I still prefer my 20s. Best thing about my 30s has been meeting my now fiancé. He’s younger than me but I don’t look in my 30s so people don’t usually guess by looking at us lol.

The last time I ate out in a restaurant was the weekend of 14th March. I was in Glasgow for a meeting (which ended up being cancelled) and needed food somewhere. On the Saturday night we ate in a Wetherspoons, food was nice but I felt uncomfortable as it was very busy and the bar was pretty crowded when I went to order the food. I'd normally eat out in a restaurant at least once a month I guess.

Victoria - boat trip was fine. Have to wear face coverings on it now, which feels really strange. When we went over last Sunday it was optional. At least we'd booked a cabin so didn't have to wear it for the whole trip as we weren't near other people. I definitely wouldn't fancy travelling by plane, or in the public areas of the boat. It's not that I disagree with the changes to rules, but personally I just find it uncomfortable, even for a short period of time.

Maria Helena - I'm in a band and we continued to meet via Zoom during lockdown. It's really not the same at all. But at least we could keep in touch and do some practicing. We've started to have socially distanced outdoor practices since mid June. Only problem is it depends on the weather.

I don't really like the idea of going for a meal in a restaurant yet. I'd rather give it a while to see if it causes an increase with cases. Anyone who's been to a restaurant so far, what has it been like?
