I've been in Inverness quite a few times too. Had a prolonged stay one year cause the car broke down. The car turned into a total disaster, we ended up flying home and the car was finally repaired about a month later.

I've drive through Nairn on the way to Forres quite a few times over the past 10 years but never actually had a chance to stop in it. Lovely part of the country

I can read Murder in a Scottish Shire for Highlands location - it's set in Nairn which is in the Scottish Highlands. I can start it once I finish my current book

I was the same when Harry Potter ended. I wanted to find out what happened but at the same time I didn't want the book to end.

Any ideas if this book is acceptable for challenge? The Chalet School at War as it's tagged as children's. It doesn't seem to be on the website suggested to verify word count.

I can't do Midnight Library as I read it in February.

For the bingo one, death of rats.... wonder if my current book would work. I'm still early on in it but at least 1 person is murdered (death) and it seems like they carried out lobotomies or similar treatments on kids in the past. I was thinking of rats metaphorically as a description of nasty horrible people. Maybe it's a bit too much of a stretch

I'm Vikki from Northern Ireland. I've taken part in almost all of the previous tower teams and am looking forward to this one.
I haven't read any of the Discworld books.
My favourite genres are crime & thriller.

Wow, can't believe we actually did it. What a great piece of news to come home tonight after a really tough week. Really enjoyed this challenge and getting to know my fellow Hobbits :) Well done everyone!

Finished my 3rd book for this week. Really doubt I'll squeeze in another before the deadline but will see what I can do. If so it'll only be a short one, but every page helps at this stage!

I have to admit I wouldn't like to travel outside my own country at the moment. Everything is so uncertain and changing all the time. Hopefully your hubby will agree to postpone now the others want to wait too.

I'll have Cinder finished later today and will finish Three Sisters Three Queens this week. Dunno if I'll have time to squeeze in an extra book, but those 2 are on track.
