35559 right, not bad, and the R's can be covered by any Harry Potter book we read for BR =)

35559 I know U is a difficult letter, I have "Un mundo feliz" (Brave New World by Aldous Huxley) in my tbr, so I'll read it because there are tons of U's in spells. I can reread a book where a main character is called Uri too.

I'm a slow-ish reader btw

35559 A tracking spreadsheet should be useful. I'll check my books and see what I can do for spelling

Hello from Flitwick.

@Christina - I just posted in the BR requests thread for a thread to be made for Allegi..."

hahaha I'm always the only one from south america

For me this is a totally new team, but that's fun, by participating in reading challenges we get to know people from everywhere and share our love for books =).
I participated in 3 UNO, WOBBLE and this will be my second TT, I really enjoy team challenges

This year though, my UNO team started great, but we lost teammates along the way, and some had reading slumps, so it wasn't easy, but still I had fun

35559 I love historical fiction, but my favorite is Fantasy.
I always recommend The Neverending Story by Michael Ende it's a beautiful book

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (Harry Potter, #1) by J.K. Rowling

35559 Hello!!
I'm super excited for TT, I participated last year too.

I'm Paula, I'm from Chile, I'm a 27 y-o Chemical Engineer, working in mining.
I love Harry Potter since I was 11, the last book came out when I was 17, so I practically grew up with the characters, Harry Potter is part of my life =)

One of my favorite Gilderoy Lockhart moments is Valentine's Day in book 2, it's just hilarious.

Also, my shelf: tower-teams-vi

Hi! I'm waiting for our thread to be open =)
35559 Thanks!
I've read the first and second HP at least 10 times, I know lots of parts by heart (in spanish of course haha)
The others at least 4 times each
35559 I don't quite understand how the buddy read works, do we have to have partners from another team or just participate in this thread?

I believe the spanish editions to be pretty good.

In spanish they didn't change the names of the houses, Hogwarts, spells or characters.

The only things they changed were Tom Marvolo Riddle's name, it change to Tom Sorvolo Ryddle in some editions, so it could spell
Soy Lord Voldemort in spanish.

And the mirror of Erised is called, Oesed (deseo is desire in spanish) and the thing it says in its frame (I show not your face but your heart's desire), of course, so it can be read in spanish too (Esto no es tu cara sino de tu corazón el deseo)

Hello!
I agree a couple of weeks in between challenges was enough hahaha, I'm ready for another challenge, I love doing this :D

I re read the HP books once every two years, now is the time for me =P, I'll read them in english this time though, I'm from Chile, so I read them in spanish, except for HP7, I read that one in english the first time because I couldn't wait 6 months for the translation

35559 Hello, I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan, I don't know how many times I've read this one, but never in english, only in spanish, I have 5 different editions of The Philosopher's Stone =P,
One of them is the Harry Potter 20 Ravenclaw edition by Bloomsbury, I think I'll read that or my Scholastic hardcover edition for TT =)
