I updated my two books for week 4. Sorry for the delay! I’ve been struggling to keep up with all the spell out letters mine work for

Ok it’s on there now and I’m done

I finished my book this morning but didn’t get time to enter it on the spreadsheet cuz work and Google don’t mix

I’ll have one more that I’ll complete before the deadline, it’s Crocodile on the Sandbank and I’ll be done shortly

I’m also reading Fullmetal Alchemist, Vol. 1 but it doesn’t come up in www.ArBookFind.com. It seems like there are tons of words but I don’t know where else to go for word count…

To all who celebrate Thanksgiving!

Is there a fast link or post to find out what all can be used for Spell—outs to refer to? I seem to always forget and then go hunting and clicking for a while before I find it. Figured maybe I’m missing an easier route lol

Also, what is the minimum page count for this?

Edit: found all this on a tab on the planning sheet I was missing 🤦🏼‍♀️

Ok that’s what I was thinking. I’ll be finishing both of my current reads today and then be ready to go!

I know this goes by finish dates, but for the very start of the challenge, do we need to only use books we start AFTER the challenge begins?

I’m working on finishing up my two books in progress because I feel like that’s true…

Now that I’ve read and caught up, I’m Keri, and I’m from the United States—Ohio specifically.

I love reading (almost as much as I like collecting books for my TBR)!
My favorite genres are mystery/thriller/horror and fantasy, but I do read a little bit of everything 😃 📚

This is my second time in Wheels and I’m so excited to be a part of it.
I’m super addicted to team and individual reading challenges, they’re so hard to resist!

Do we have a countdown time wise to the end of the challenge today? I may finish one more book. The spreadsheet is updated with my recent books finished and I’ll add the one I’m reading in case I finish.

I’m so sorry for all you’ve been going through as well Sophie—that’s so much to be handling in RL, and you’re also being one of our amazing captains too.

I’m really hoping everyone on our team gets to catch a break with all our rough times that have gone on through this challenge.

Hi everyone, I’m so sorry I’ve been MIA for weeks on the thread. I have been reading and updating the spreadsheet with the basic book details and my shelf.

My mom had a brain bleed a few weeks ago and it has been very stressful and scary. She seems to be through the worst of the danger now and is not in critical care. She is still in severe therapy to retrain her brain and left side to do basic tasks. I’ve still been reading when I can, it does really help to escape. It’s very scary to think about the long road ahead for my mom, and even scarier to think how much worse it could’ve been if she didn’t catch it early enough by feeling off the day it happened.

On top of that we’ve just had a a new wave of a covid outbreak at work so currently I’m not even able to visit my mom for fear of spreading covid even tho I don’t have it so far.

I will try to check in more often, if even just for some more distractions.

Hi everyone—sorry I’ve been quiet lately. Real life has been burying me. Work has been killing is all with mandatory overtime which has been exhausting. I also was in a full weekend pool tournament (my team came in one round out of being sent to Vegas—both exciting to get that far and a bummer to be so close but not make it). Then due to being rundown from all that I got sick and have just come back from that. And we’re now having more overtime 😩

On the plus side I did finish some books while I was sick so I’ll work on getting the spreadsheet updated to reflect that. I’ve continued to add everything to my shelf. Hoping the next few weeks can just be boring!! Haha

I am on hold for it and it should be the hardcover version when I am able to pick it up. I’m hurrying through Book of Cold Cases now and hope to read it after. If someone else faster is interested and reads it before I can I am fine with that. I’ll keep you posted. We had a rough work at week this week and now I’m in a pool tournament. I’ll be reading in downtime :-)

I was looking at all the monsters and didn’t see any with pages 650-800 :/
But I also forgot they don’t have to fit all tasks like you said lol

This book fits all categories except all letters of HERA in the title. (Annoyingly, if it was ‘AND’ instead of ‘&’it would work for all 5. Grrr 😡
