I love this mini too but I’m really disappointed it seems like all books between 650-800 pages don’t count at all for ANY of the monsters :-(
That’s a bummer since most of my long ones fit in that category.

I’m also really confused by the BOTM. I read Travelling Cat Chronicles finishing on 5/31, but did I have to be writing discussion questions to get us points? And where are the discussions happening? Sorry, I’m trying to figure things out…

I want to read two of this months so I feel like I should figure out what’s going on with it…

Sorry, had a couple crazy days at work where I was the o ly supervisor and all that could go crazy did.

Everywhere there’s an * is normally not there, no space.
I only added spaces to the URL to make it show as text for errors if any of you see anything. This has been driving me nuts.
The ones that don’t work look no differently set up to me than the ones I have that work!!

Ok great I got them added, only added ones I’m sure I’ll finish by the end.
I’m also reading The Woman in the Window but might have bitten off more than I can chew with that one in the time left.

The only books I have finished were started before this challenge or are under 200 pages but we’re already planned for my TBR this month with other things so I didn’t put them on :/
I’m reading 11/22/63 which is massive but I started mid April 😩

Next month I’ll do better because I’ll plan for the fact that we want longer books for this. Already I’m planning to fit in a 699, 625, and 509 page books.

I’m working on a new one now so I’ll look for what it fits.

Both of those Erin Morgenstern books are on my TBR!! Is there one you recommend to start with or either is good? I know they’re not connected at all.

Omg that sounds terrible Amy!! And on top of all the hassle it’s a subject bringing back reminders of your dads death the whole time. What a hassle, I’m so glad it seems the last person you worked with was able to help.

I was going to say the same thing. Five or so people have told me good things about Amari in the past couple months.

Exactly! It seems weird but it just is that way lol.
I also do the games on my phone while listening, I forgot about that one.

I have to be doing something else too. I used to listen to them at work when I worked the queues when I had a desk job and get through so many. Back then I got them on cd so there was no option to speed them up and it never bothered me. Now tho since I’ve discovered the speeding up option, I feel the regular voice is exaggeratedly slow too and can’t listen on regular speed. I do anywhere from 1.25–2 depending on the voice and accent. Sometimes if I’m struggling to finish one and not loving it I’ll speed it up more to make it through lol.

Now I work in the warehouse and don’t get the opportunity during work. I also can listen if I’m cleaning around the house. I just have to also be doing something else.

I do have an easier time with certain types of books on audio though for sure.

I actually finished my physical read just now!! Minutes to spare lol.
And my audio will be done tomorrow so not too bad for thinking I’d be starting this one way behind :-)
