Finished:When the Tiger Came Down the Mountain
and
.The second one is tagged both YA and Children -- I don't have to search up the word count, because it's got YA on the main page, right?

Do you want to read it? Because I could read How to Raise an Honest Rabbit. But otherwise I have an Ordinal number books I could start: The Eleventh Gate
Michelle wrote: "Beth, can you add Uprooted to your TT shelf?"Sorry, done.
Also finished A Handful of Earth, a Handful of Sky: The World of Octavia E. Butler which fits 43 -- repeated word in title.
Now I have to read some book club books.
Finished
. I could read
A Handful of Earth, a Handful of Sky: The World of Octavia E. Butler for 43 -- repeated word in title. After that I'll check back, but I just found The Eleventh Gate on my shelves which could be for the ordinal number if no one has filled that yet.
Two books with rabbits on them that I recommend are
and the sweet m/m romance
If no one else has claimed the rabbit one when I've finished my dragon book maybe I'll reread one of those.
Finished
today, which might fit for MC learns a new skill, since the theme of the book is Ista feeling like she's old and useless and then becoming an avatar of the gods who sucks up demons and saves the day. It takes her a while to learn the skill of it.
So, does one of us offer up an outline? And then we work on it as we find books to fit?Do we throw books into the categories and then try to make a story that fits them?
Oh, my next book club book has a dragon on it:
(that's a dragon in one of the panels on the side, I think. I three headed dragon? So I'll read that after I finish the rat book. I don't know if we'll still need a dragon by then, but I don't like having two unfinished books on the spreadsheet.
(Not because that's bad, but because I'm superstitious and if I have two books I've promised to read I'll fall into a reading slump and my eyes will fall out and ...)
I am hoping someone can now explain the story to me, since we've almost finished the other stuff. In the meantime I'll read my rat book.
Finished my sun-on-cover book:
I could read
which has rats on the cover. (165-rodent on cover)I've been wanting to read that, so I'll start that and see where it fits!
Finished
.It might work for cabbage bingo -- there's a vegetarian characters and it's about food a lot.
Mary C wrote: "Sorry I haven't finished much lately. I've been going back and forth between books. We lost a friend and fellow Elk at the end of last week and spent the weekend dealing with that. As a team mate, it means you have the chance to have a cascading finish run, just as you had a lot of starts. Please read however makes you happy right now.
I've read the Jim Butcher books and Queen Mab is definitely based on the folklore figure, so I think you are right!
Just finished
The Last Emperox and added to spreadsheet.
Funny thing -- google says "Last" is considered an ordinal number. Ha! Does it count for the ordinal number in title task?
Otherwise I guess it's good for an L or S in the Spell-it-outs.
Is it time to start worrying about our story?
This book has a broom on the cover, which the protagonist is riding:
I just finished it and put it in the spreadsheet
I've been in a bit of a reading slump, starting a lot of books but not finishing them. So I took a break and read some Graphic Novels, and now I managed to complete a short romance, which I will go add to the spreadsheet.
Michelle wrote: "You can participate in as many BOM/DQs as you would like for points during the challenge. If you want to link your DQs on the line for the book (the headings say BOM and BOM Comments Link) we can c..."AHA! I had to scroll over! This complicated procedure was apparently beyond me when I was gazing dumbly at the spreadsheet.
I did mention that I'm not good at spreadsheets at the start, didn't I? I will go put in the links to my comments.
