I think you're spot on. I don't think I'd probably have liked the format in paperback. The person to person to person comments would have gotten dull really fast. I have no doubt the reason I liked it so much was the performances. The cast really brought the characters to life. I don't think I would have made Eddie as annoying and resentful in my mind straightway.
I gave this a five stars but two of those stars were for the narrators.

Finished my first book for this challenge. Read Daisy Jones & The Six, really enjoyed it. Gave it five stars. The audio was fantastic, it was like a movie.

Yay, I've got my questions all ready to go. Clearly, someone else in Norfolk is also in this Goodreads group because the same books are always being requested. So i had to read it and prepare my questions before returning it.

I ordered mine friday but won't get it until next week. I'm looking forward to this. I bought last year's tome and didn't get past page 20. Not because it wasn't good, just everything else got in the way. I really want to keep up with this year's read.

I can do DQs. Can I be one of the first days, please? I've got a library copy and I may not be able to renew. 😬

I finished on time just didn't log it. I was watching Strictly and completely forgot. Hopefully it will still count.

I'll have Sweep of the Blade finished by tomorrow and that will be it from me.

I will have John Saturnall's Feast and In the Unlikely Event finished by tomorrow. And I will have Smoke Bitten by Friday. I'm hoping to sneak one more in by Saturday since I was rubbish at reading last week.
