That's a shame because it sounds really good.

35559 I've downloaded The Utterly Uninteresting and Unadventurous Tales of Fred, the Vampire Accountant (Fred, the Vampire Accountant, #1) by Drew Hayes and TinEye says it's 69.7% grey.
I'm going to try to go out with a bang and read as many as possible.

35559 Thy Rebecca is stunning. Okay, I now feel like I'm not doing good enough. I never even thought about folio editions.

35559 I did a version of these book box subscriptions for my daughter. So they're very tailored custom boxes, obvs. She asked for it for Xmas last year. It was fun finding snack and trinkets that went with the books. The boxes were not easy to find though. I had to make half of them. She loved them so much that she has asked for a repeat this Xmas. It will be subscription bags though. I've got a stack of decorative boxes in my garage.

35559 Gorgeous book. Sounds interesting too.

35559 I also managed to delete another 3. It's funny how i found that hard in the beginning, like the first few times I dnf a book. But now there is something rather satisfying about letting a book go.

35559 Just knocked another four off my tbr but added one from a previous post. The tbr truly never gets shorter. C'est la vie.
I've increased my goal from 30 to 50, since I just finished #46. I hope i can get another 4 in before year's end.

Was defo not worth the wait. I have a real hit and miss relationship with Seanan McGuire. I'll try the next one, but I'll go in with lower expectations. I mean how man times did she needs to reference dance in this?!! We get it.
Piranesi by Susanna Clarke ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very interesting idea and beautifully written.
Naked in Death (In Death, #1) by J.D. Robb ⭐️⭐️⭐️
It's Nora Roberts, she's always dependable for a three star read. It's hilarious that it's set in 2053, so they're talking about now like ancient history. I mean guns from the 90s are antiques. It's not even 100 years. It's still living memory for some. Still fun.
The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I liked it while listening. The narrators did a brilliant job. And it's a bonkers but wonderful concept. Yet, when I finished I wasn't longing for for more. I was a little glad it was finally over. Know what i mean?
The Gravedigger’s Son (Charley Davidson, #13.6) by Darynda Jones ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Loved being back in Charley's world. Might do this as my series re-read in 2024.

35559 Some pretty decent options already. I like anything but cozy mystery! Cranberry sauce and macaroni &cheese are particularly good ones. If we go for opening an option, I plump for cornbread. I miss cornbread so much. And sweet tea. And biscuits and gravy. I make myself iced tea all the time, but there's a two week window where i can make sun tea over here. Y'all appreciate the sun, if youre lucky enough to live somewhere with it shining constantly.

35559 What's worse is that i actually read a different book on the 16th that would have finished our last spell out. I just forgot to put it on the list.😡

that would make sense lol thank you!"

I'm assuming it works. It's not capitalised but he is never referred to without the article. And Piranesi's index is "other, the," followed by what ever else.

35559 So I'll get Murmur of Bees and piranesi finished tonight. As I have to read Discount Armageddon by 4pm est Saturday. It will probably be down to the wire, I think will be in this round. I'll shelve it and try to get it posted.
