I really liked the first book...and I liked the way the 3rd book ended. But things got really confusing in the 2nd and most of the 3rd, it was somewhat hard to follow. And I felt like the characters mostly ended up as caricatures by the end. I kinda wish I'd stopped after the first...

I'm a tiny bit disappointed the shark wasn't actually on the shark box.

35559 I just finished City of Mirrors, and I was also able to get through most of another book while I slow-rolled the first one, letting me finish two books this morning! (Watch out Cecily, I'm going for your record! Just kidding, can't sustain this ;) )

Anyway, City of Mirrors works for the bat, and I also finished Girl Waits with Gun, which is based around the repercussions of a car accident, so that should work for the sports car square.

Sounds good, that's what I was leaning towards, just wanted to make sure you all weren't missing one letter to finish out Wheelathon or something.

My book will work for the bat square, it's about vampires, which should be close enough to tie thematically to bats!

35559 Hey mods, I'm working on City of Mirrors...but I was wondering if this would be better served for Wheelathon or Bingo.

It can fit for B, N, G, or O...but the reason I'm debating holding off is because it's just over 600 pages, and Bingo rewards for longer book.

I can finish it tonight if it's useful or can save it. What do you all prefer?

35559 Wow, time to change gears again! I like the flexibility we get with this, a chance to be creative with some of those squares. :)

For the Wheelathon, I have The City of Mirrors (The Passage, #3) by Justin Cronin which has a gold cover. I'm pretty sure I can get it done by Friday if it's useful. It would work for any of those letters except 'I"
