So many goals claimed too quickly! Guess i got confused :)

Ahh we used it for the no label chapters one"
I thought 'no labeled chapters' was used with Thrones of Glass?

Great I'm reading catchi..."
Turns out "Me Before You" has "hot potato" in it, so I'll just use it for that

26. I think Kaz had to make a decision about what go do and ultimately decided to let him live. After a fight it seems, but maybe he thought letting him waste away in prison was a better punishment
27. No, it seems like exactly the kind of crazy plan that Kaz would have, using the promise of double loyalties, especially after Matthias proved he wouldn't shoot Kaz even after getting the gun. But it sounded like that was not actually part of the plan, so I was wrong about how it worked, but still wasn't surprised.
28. No i don't think he'll go back. At this point even if he did still agree with the work, he's probably burned too many bridges by hurting Brum, he can't go back even if he wanted to.
29.i guess this is where people who have read the other books have an advantage, I don't remember reading about inferni yet, although maybe I just missed it.
30.i still think Wylan is going to die. He's the one that the others had the most reservations about and if he was really skilled enough. I think he'll die in some heroic way, sacrificing himself for the others.

Chapters 18-20, pages 202-254
16. We get a glimpse of Kaz feelings for Inez. Were you surprised? How do you think their story will evolve?
No, not really surprised. He seems to try to overstate his purely financial motivations, that he's overcompensating to try to hide real feelings. Which also makes sense now that we know more about his background with his brother.
17. Kaz shares a bit of his backstory with Inez, and considerably more with us. We are introduced to Jordie, the Hertzoons and an innocent, dependent Kaz. What were your thoughts reading about it?
Totally saw the scam coming. Still frustrating that the had to go through that. I'm interested to learn more about the brother and how he was killed
18. They finally landed on Fjerda. The heist plan is revealed. Matthias has a plan of his own and implies that Nina might have one too. Will they make it? At what cost? Is the gang going to break apart before the end?
I expect they'll succeed, but won't get the money for whatever reason. Maybe Matthias/Nina kill the scientist, maybe they just get scammed, but the way the characters are developed, I expect they will not becoming millionaires in this book. I also think one of them will die in the process. My money is on Wylan.
19. We learn more about Nina and Matthias backstory. Now, their characters are better shaped. Did it change your opinion for either of them? Can you see them escape their prejudices? How do you think their story will evolve?
[For those that have read the Grisha trilogy: The hatred between Grisha and the Fjerdans run deep. Grishas are burned to the stake like witches. The Grishas armies burn villages and destroy the land. Is the original Grisha trilogy explaining how all this started?]
It seems like they had already made significant progress in overcoming their prejudices before Nina turned Matthias in as a slaver. Since she's explained her reasoning, I'd think by the end of this they will be more open-minded to both sides.
20. The company is attacked by a drug-empowered Grisha. The competition is getting tighter. Is their mission as clean as they were led to believe? What role Bo Yul-Bayur will play if he gets his freedom?
This part is honestly confusing me. At first it seemed that the drug and its effects were very secret. But if there are multiple groups trying to get to this guy and some of them already have (at least some of) the drug, then apparently it's not really all that secret. And all the teams end up there at the same time? I don't know, I think some of the backstory just doesn't work for me.

It's a memoir, so doesn't really have characters, other than the author Jenny I guess. It covers mental health, taxidermy, cats, and lots of other random things.

So if anyone has that on their TBR shelf, that will probably work for the chapter goal!
